There is a vision that comes in with the players they brought in. There is a reason why they went after sniper type of wings in Bullock and Ellington.
Randle and Portis both are strong rebounders who can push the pace. Randle is rare at attacking the paint from the 3 point line. Portis in an excellent trailer who also can put the ball on the floor to create his shot.
The vision to me seems to come off as we are gonna run ALOT. Smith, Barrett, Randle if they get the rebound are gonna push and attack immediately. Guys like Ellington, Bullock, Knox are gonna run to the 3 pt lines on the push waiting for kick outs. Portis is gonna follow up as the trailer. I am sure they are looking for Frank to be effective in this very manner as well to get burn.
The concern though is Smith, Barrett, Randle can be very TO prone though they can get 5+ ast each a game. And their FT shooting isn’t a strength. So if they are turning the ball over and missing FTs that can greatly damage the efficiency of the offense. If the goal is for them to attack this way.
Fizz will form lineups to always have a combination of guys that can push, attack and shooters.
