That team blows. I'd rather have Porzingis than Bullock/Gibson/Ellington any day of the week.
At this point we need to hope for another tank and land a top pick the next two years and then compete in 2021/2022
But Porzingis and his brother doesn't want you, allegedly. If that's true, get what you can and move on. They tried to keep him and stopped Phil from trading him, but that didn't work. Rather get something than let him walk for free. Hopefully these guys want to be here and willing to accept a starter or bench role, which is important for team chemistry.
With Fitz culture....Play hard and play more.....The vets will play higher than their expectations, and hopefully the rooks will follow.
You left out Portis, he has a solid right hand. Solid blue collar type team, build like the knicks of the 90's when we had guys like Anthony Bonner and Charles Oakley. This team will be interesting to watch, and will win some surprising games. Both young and old vets are hungry with a chip on their shoulder. Fitz holds all the pressure to make this work. Should be a playoff team. If we play good enough, somebody will demand a trade....It's a "copy cat league".....By then we will be ready.
