![]() Also can’t have it both ways. Can’t cry that he isn’t worth max because he gets tired, shoots 43%,doesn’t rebound enough, and gets injured. But then treat him like hes KG or Duncan or Dirk when he wants to leave cuz the team isn’t winning.

But flexibility is turning into a revolving door dude, you think flipping your roster every 90 to 120 days is the path to winning..Sorry but stability is the KEY Do you want Players seeing their name in trade rumors every other day, players playing for contracts instead of the team.. That comes with the media market here. Knicks have to do what’s best for the long term health of the Knicks. Knicks based off their discipline over the years have built one of their best collections of talent since the 54 win season. And deeper collections of talent than the Layden, Isaiah and Walsh yrs. Without having a jacked up cap or owing any future picks. Not only that but are actually owed 2 future first. When they do start winning consistently. It will be because of these sacrifices and discipline displayed. AKA the process. The same process you whine about every step of the way. https://vote.nba.com/en Vote for your Knicks.

He'll never be a hanger and it looks like the mid-range will forever be a part of his arsenal. But he and Luka looked good. I expect great things from them duri g the first 20 games of the season. Always... always remember: Less is less. More is more. More is better and twice as much is good too. Not enough is bad, and too much is never enough except when it's just about right.

![]() I used to be such a big fan of KP. I still think his brother became a very bad influence to him because he seemed like he was really pumped to be in NY. When he skipped that exit meeting t was a real red flag and I do think it was his brother. I mean even Melo went and met with Phil and the Knicks FO despite having issues. At least he wanted to be here. KP despite being hurt and missing over 1.5 years was treated like a franchise player by the Knicks then he just all of a sudden doesn't want to be here. Its not even like he at least came back this year to see hw things would go he just forced our hand. But anyway Im over it. Im happy we have a mixture of veteran/youngsters who WANT to be here. Im glad we are done with prima donnas especially ones who are always injured

![]() The game highlight looked good. Impressed by his putback. Loved that about him. Good timing and knack for the ball.
One game, 18 minutes and he took a lot of shots! preseason. Was it a show? Hype machine might sell it. His first game in 20 months. I'll move on soon enough. IM just prepared for media onslaught if he does well. Knicks own all their picks and owed 2 first rounders. Knicks used to be cooler when we had none of that. There will be trades, there will be upside surprise and down side. Timmy is on that team. This should be interesting. |

The process started 5 yrs ago when we got KP after tanking, and we have tanked every yr since. Hopefully that changes this yr, but you and I both know that if we are 9, 10, 11 games under 500 by JANUARY we will go into full tank mode like the last 5 seasons, trade rumors will fly, everyone loses focus, media starts pounding, trust..you have seen the movie before, part 1 through 5 ES

Just wait until Janis starts whispering in Kristy's ear again. Wow. That's out and out crazy talk. Anyway . . . 2017 starts out with kp surrounded by vets in the starting lineup - kanter, haradaway, jack, lee. Sessions actually started the 1st 3 then jack from there on. Kp starts off with a bang. 29 and 8 on 48% 2's and 36% 3's in october, knicks are 3-3 (3-0 with jack). By november kp's already starting his yearly tailoff pattern . 24.6 and 6 on .46 and .42 for the month. Knicks are 8-7 for the month, 11-10 overall. December he's 22 and 7 on .41 and .32. knicks go 7-8, 18-18 on the year. January: 20 and 7 on .42 and .46. knicks are 5-11, 23-29 overall. Kp goes down on feb 6, knicks go 6-24 rest of way to finish 29-53 Knicks then add knox, robinson, trier, give vonleh, mudiay, hezonia a shot. Kp's out for the year. Zion's on the board. Capspace is coming up. They tell kp let's hold off on extending so we'll have +10M for free agents. I still don't understand how anyone doesn't get it that tanking and youth development were the objects for the year. Both accomplished. That's what's going to turn this franchise around - the return of kp, developing young guys, free agents, a high draft pick. Let's go. Kp's in - until he's not. Bang - kp and janis: we're out. Trade us to one of these 4 teams or we're off to europe now and we ain't signing. Knicks - F U, enjoy texas and then get the best deal in the face of the turncoat move. Present time - we're loaded with young promising guys, great complement of vets, draft picks to come. No bloated-contract, injured, lockerroom cancer "stars." In the face of kp's defection, couldn't have turned out better. That's the universe i live in. |

Sure, she looks happy with Mark right now. Just wait until Janis starts whispering in Kristy's ear again. We tanked an landed KP the season when Melo went down with career derailing knee surgeory. We had no draft pick the yr prior even though we missed the playoffs (without tanking). And no draft pick the yr after drafting KP. KP goes on to miss the last 1.5 of the 4 yrs he has been in the league. Has missed 132 games out of the 246 he could have possibly played over the last 3 seasons. Or 54% of the possible games he could have played which maybe changes the need to tank if he played. So how does that logic makes sense that your franchiser player is disgruntled over losing when he has missed 54% of the games he could have played over the last 3 yrs and every single game of the last season? There is less reason to tank this coming season then there has been in the past. They have acquired enough young talent to move forward with. There is no Zion or Barrett in this up coming class. I don't think Lamelo Ball is a guy they are going to be enamoured with. They also have the assets where if a disgruntled player becomes available(Beal) they have a realistic shot at him. If things don't workout with Davis in LA they have the cap flex to have a realistic shot at him. If nothing of that sort formulates they just continue to add talent and probably keep majority of the players they signed this offseason. So they will only sacrifice chemistry for massive upgrades in talent. You talk about continuity, but also complain about the growing pains nesseary to develop that. You want a short cut to the final results, you can always step away give me your email. I will shoot you an email when the Knicks are finally there. But we both know while the losing sucks. Seeing the process to building a winning team unfold is what makes us diehards. Barrett had to have been fun to watch live vs Wiz the other day. Just remember that was a product of 17 win season last yr. https://vote.nba.com/en Vote for your Knicks.
