If he is, he said on “The Jump” that he has one more year. I think he would be a great fit for the Knicks for a minimal contract, whether we go all in for superstars or rebuild or somewhere in between. He doesn’t have to have huge minutes and I don’t think he requires them.

Answering my own question.... he is a free agent. I say offer him a minimal contract. If we get no other free agents then give him a little more. It will be worth lending his voice to our young players.

Like that idea. Would also bring the house down on those rare occasions that Carter still dunks. Could give teammates tips on staying healthy, prolonging their careers as well.

KNicks got Dot, Trier, Knox, DSJr, Frank on roster right now... 5 guys who play the PG/SG/SF position with the possible addition of Barrett. 6 guys who are like 24 and younger.
Possible addition of Kadeem Allen who really plays nice D and shoots well from 3.
So that's 7 possible wing guys.
When does the reality hit of not really needing another wing player?

They shopped Dot at the deadline and Frank is here until expires, at the latest. We'e got a lot because we have none that are capable at the moment. I could be wrong, but i think Allanfan meant he wanted someone to wave a towel a la Rasheed Wallace/Marcus Camby/Kurt Thomas/Baron Davis and contribute meaningfully for about 25 games

Vince can now show them all the good strip clubs in Atlanta? And how to tip properly?
