He resembles Ewing a lot in my opinion.
The only resemblance I see is that they are both black. Kandi has shown me nothing that does not prove his rep as an underachiever. I hope we dont end up with this guy.

Guy, I cannot think of any good available options at the 5 right now. I definately dont think Kandi will help us any.

These are not great stats, but just for the opportunity of getting rid of Kurt and perhaps Anderson, I would do this deal. He is a tall big body that we can use. He can free up space for Sweetney and JYD.

you know... Olowakandi isnt a bad gamble for the Knicks. Its a one year risk, it moves KT opening up PF for Sweetney, JYD and guys that are probably better suited to play there anyway like Baker and NAzr, and worst case is its an expiring deal to use in Feb.
I'm not a Kandi fan, but I agree that he'd be a worthwhile gamble for this roster.

I don't like his style of play either, but the intangibles that he will bring to our front-court we need. Most of all, the fact that he will clear space on the roster for Sweetney and JYD makes the deal even sweeter.

Hell, I would trade for Kandi just so Sweets can start.

Kurt has been a good soldier, but his time has come when we must make due of all the trade rumors. IMO this N.Y team will never be a great team until Kurt and either Houston are out of our roster. Offcourse you all know that Anderson has to go by any means necessary.

What? If we can trade them for younger players who will help the team more, that's great, but of course the team can continue improving and become great if good moves are made even while keeping Kurt and Allan. They're not bad players who hurt teams!

That is exactly what I hate about some Knick fans, some of you always fail to see things the way it must be seen. Houston and Kurt are part of the old regime, it was reported last year at the end of the season, Kurt wasn't too happy with Marburry and most of all with the way Isiah was courting Marburry. This behavior will continue, and we may even risk having some sort of a revolt in our locker-room is two out of the three names that I am going to mention are not gone: Anderson, Kurt Thomas, and Houston. Again, two of the three must be out of N.Y for us to begin to play as a team.

a solid soldier who bitched when he was benched for Mcdyess and then when he got his job back stunk it up. and now will most likely bitch when Sweetney shows he's the better player. injured pinky or not he's worthless.

Kurt won't likely be here for too long as he is currently our only trade asset, and Zeke is desperately trying to get younger and more athletic.
I don't know what you have against Houston besides his contract. When he is healthy, we are instantly much better. And from what I've read, Allan is definately not a guy who is going to start a revolt in the locker room.
And as far as Shandon goes, he will unfortunately stick with us for a while. Hopefully in the IR.

I think Kurt Thomas gets too much credit for what he did during 2 horrible seasons to be a Knicks fan. 14pts, 8rebs on a none playoff team big fn deal!

That is very true. I am a KT fan but I agree he gets credit for that year. I wish we can just forget about those 2 years. They were just horrible for any Knick fan. I cannot think of a single good thing that came out of those years.

This I was not aware of. If KT has a problem with Marbury being the leader/best player on our team, this could be a long year. Also, if he can bitch about Stephon, it is possible he is giving Sweets a tough time in the locker room. I really wish this is not the case.
