This is too funny not to repeat. Peter Vecsey, telling it like it is:

"Reports from .com rewrite dummy Chad Ford that Clippers are shopping Lamar Odom is like the rest of the stuff he dreams up in print."

Yeah, I enjoyed that too. Whatever happened to Vecsey? I used to rush out for the Post on Tuesdays, Fridays and Sundays, because he always has some good league gossip, even if there were no trade rumors. In the past few years, though, his column has devolved into a series of one-liners that are not only not funny, but increasingly nonsensical. While I may still have some lingering bitterness towards Insider for being a toothless, subscriber version of the late, lamented Sportstalk, I'll take Chad Ford any day over the dyspeptic Andy Rooney that Vecsey seems to have become.
