The two young players Trier and Dotson perform like future NBA combo-guards .. Keepers!
I became a happy Knick Fan when the Knicks traded (No Defensive-Effort) Timmy Hardaway Jr. to the Hawks.

No love for Angry Grandpa? Wow (No, I didn't vote for him either.)

He just doesn't fit and has too big a salary for what he does- we have Trier, Dotson, Lee at SG, plus will play Frank there too- 3 of those guys salaries are peanuts. Plus we might end up drafting a SG. On top of that, next year KP will need the ball, Knox likes the ball, there's a remote chance we end up with Irving or KD, who again need the ball, we just can't have another chucker at SG.

I voted Trier. While I liked Timmy from when he was rookie with us and he was playing at a high level to start the season, I feel that Trier isn't that far off as a player and perhaps has more upside at a lower salary. Trier's upside probably has fewer holes in his game.

why did we sign THJ to a 4 yr deal if he was only a test run..

We went out our way and paid big money for him, and 17 months later he's on the trading block.

Trier is nice player, but he has some character issues, which is one the reason he slipped all the way out of the draft..

"We went out of our way"......
Were you inconvenienced?

He is on the trading block because Mills is a idiot.
Or......
Noah was extended and did not have trade value.
Two years later we are prime to land top three draft pick. Not expected.
KP blew his knee out. We were .500 or close with him and Timmy before.
If you break down his game, he takes about 5 dumb forced shots a game. He forces things.
Take that out and his shooting % might improve.
Put him on a better team he is not the 1st option he could be a very good player.

Do you really have no sense of any of this?

THJ stinks. Always has. He's the same chucker we had when he was a rookie and hasn't improved a shred. AT least Trier doesn't cost 18 million and seems to have potential above THJ.
