Trier reminds me of a young harden. I think he deserves a shot at starting pg

I believe pretty strongly that Trier is the real deal and his fall off was just due to his injury. He is playing now like he was playing before the injury.
The only real worry we ever had was his ISO tendencies. Well, he is starting to dish the rock.

We really don't need Timmy any more imo. And I might be one of the few who think Timmy isn't bad when there is a team around him. Regardless, we are looking good.
Give me a top 3 pick in this coming draft.

Trier is still a work in progress. he is the Anti Frank and visa versa!!!
I agree Timmy is going to be fine but not in this role. I like Trier off the bench.

Trier is an excellent 6th man. I don't see him as a starting guard for awhile, but 6th man might be even more important. In that role, we can let him do what he does best.

fan thanked Trier for letting Gordan hit shot so knicks can keep the tank going. No doubt Trier was upset.
Hopefully these kids are learning from mistakes. Trier makes a ton of them. Im ok with how the game ended last night. I know I get called out for this "permissive fanhood" but the facts are what they are and me getting upset or demanding online does not create a sense of urgency for the team. Rebuilding sucks. Eye one the future!

Like Trier's talent but he seems to be a hothead and doesn't have good chemistry/body language with all his teammates. Notice he passes a lot to MRob but doesn't seem to with Frank, Enes, Tim and Mud. Even last night when he was aggressive and played well overall - he looked off Timmy overtly on a fast break, didn't fight through the screen on Gordon's shot and engaged a fan on twitter. Hoping much of this is immaturity and he will continue progressing. Starks had that same passion as well, so really hoping his maturity increases with his game. Otherwise all the losing is not going to make things better for him...

This might one of the reason why he didn't get drafted. Kid might just be a selfish PhuchPhace prick hell bent on getting his money. He was tabbed at age 13 the best player in the country and a that is a lot to put on a kid. Coaching a kid like this is not easy. Want him to do what he does best but also break his ass in so its in the team concept.
Im ok that he was upset by the loss and his blown assignment but he has to understand win or lose don't engage in the social media. Just don't do it. He owned up to his missed assignment but just leave it alone or use bland language.

ive noticed this. he doesn't even talk to or look at his teammates during deadballs. guy is all about getting his and that's it.

all that stuff would have to get pretty damn bad before i'd worry about it. a lot of guys in the nba aren't choirboys. this guy has a great motor, is fearless on the court and is delivering. all from an undrafted rookie. i'll put up with a lot of side issues if he can keep up the delivery. we are woefully short on this kind of talent.

I noticed this as well. He seems to be very immature. Might be why he went undrafted.

I asked Starks if there was anyone on the roster that reminded him of himself. he also see the Trier comparison. I think there's a real shot Trier ends up becoming our best rookie, which is not meant as knock on Knox or Robsinson

Uncle Nalod been preaching to create opportunities as the more you, the better a teams "luck" is.
Trier is a one born from this. That we had the pick to take Robinson is in that vein. Im by no means saying "I told you so", its just a reason why im optimistic about this team as the decision making process has changed in the last 5 years and further evolved under Mills. We basically drafted three kids this year, Trier is a head case with great talent and we had the opening to create opportunity. Same for Mario and Burke who might be gone soon. Vonleh got a chance and maybe we trade him for an asset or keep him. Some won't pan out. There will be others in an uncertain future.

Bondy has an article. Says Hardaway wants Trier needs to keep it all in house and not blame media.

This is why we have 10 wins, we have some of the lowest IQ players in the NBA by far..

They don't communicate at all on defense, and the execution is like is one pass and ISO..

I really dont blame THJ for clinging on to HARDEN like a cheap suite, considering the shot hardens been making all season long regardless to who's guarding him, so in his mind he's like, I'm not even giving him a chance to get the ball..
