Don't really see why it makes sense for Minny to get involved besides making it work out for us.

Vince is the kind of player you get if you have a weak backcourt that's going to struggle to score points and needs another scoring threat. That's the exact opposite of our team.

That's not even remotely the point. The point is that we have a huge amount of scoring guards and forwards: Steph, Allan, Jamal, Penny, Timmy, Ariza, and Brewer. Shoot, even Moochie can run the floor.

We DO NOT need another scoring perimeter player. As it stands, the Knicks have one of the best groups of perimeter players in the league. Seriously.

We need interior DEFENSE. We need someone who can block shots or at least fill the lane.

Heh. I still don't follow the argument that we don't need VC because we're so deep at swingman.

Fact is he's MUCH MORE of an impact player than any of our current wing players. Since we haven't established any go-to guys outside of Marbury, Carter would certainly be a great addition.

Crawford has potential, but I don't get the feeling that team's will alter their defensive schemes just to stop him (like team's do to contain Carter). Besides, he's more of a combo 1-2 than a swingman.

I feel you win with talent. V Carter is an upgrade at SF. Simple and plain. I agree we need an inside presence, but if the oppurtunity comes up to upgrade, and Vince forces Toronto's hand, then we go for it. Even if T Thomas becomes an unhappy bench player because I cant see him playing PF and averaging 5rpg.

Also Minnesota would consider it because they would like to move Wally. He's got what is now a bad contract, his minutes are down, and K Thomas and M Norris are solid bench players for them. Sure they could get more for Wally, but it is a possibility and has been rumored for awhile.

That's over ten percent of games played.
