I'd say they are unless Sweetney proves himself to be a force.

You can't argue with the 20/10 Randolph brings.

They are better, but the west is so deep, I don't know who they're beating out for a playoff spot. They could contend for the 8th spot, along w phoenix and LA. IF they can turn SAR into a bigtime player now or at the deadline, then it might be a different story.

1 SA
2 Minnesota
3 Sac
4 Houston
5 Dallas
6 Nuggets
7 Jazz
8 Lakers

They're starting rotation is better at center and PF, ours is better at PG, SG, and SF. We have a deeper bench too. Overall, I'd give the Knicks a small edge. Being in the east should also help the Knicks win more games than the Blazers too.

tomorrow BRIGGS will post another one of his "Is this team not better than the Knicks" threads...i'm taking bets...will it be the Atlanta Hawks? or the Charlotte Bobcats?

Dude, I don't disagree, but how is this remotely relevent until they trade SAR? I think everyone would agree their roster is far from final, though it is good. You'll remember, the Knicks, without Houston or Crawford did beat the Blazers in a huge game in March when both were on the verge of falling out of the playoffs.
