MLB pitcher soon will get a 30mill contract.
30 starts......1mm per.
100 pitches a start, $10,000 per pitch.

I'm not sure what the backstory is, so I'll refrain comment on Blake's baby mama. But at $250K a month, when do we as a society address the epidemic of gold-digging whores and how they are exploiting the system?

Girlfriend is yelling at me as I tell her it is too much...tells me that I don't understand costs and whatever...

Still say the amount is ridiculous...sorry.

@fishmike....Typically, child support is based off of a percent of income or an Income Shares Model, but for father's who are earning millions I thought the support was capped off at around $10,000 a month to prevent this very thing from happening.

This isn't even the half of it! Evidently Brynn Cameron (ex-fiancee) and Griffin have joint custody of the two children.

According to the documents, both sides were ordered in July to "mutually agree" on school expenses, but the Pistons star would be responsible for extracurricular activities. They have joint custody of their children.

Cameron is also suing Griffin in a separate civil suit...because you know that all of that $258,000/mo is going directly to the two young children.

Cameron is the mother of Griffin’s two sons, Ford and Finn. She also has a son with former USC quarterback Matt Leinart.

In a separate civil suit, Cameron claims Griffin broke off their engagement after he started dating Kendall Jenner, kicking her out of his house in the process. Cameron claims she only had $100 in her bank account at the time and was “reduced to being homeless.”

I wonder what Matt Leinart's child support payment is.

Sounds about right.

But to be honest, this is on Blake (and his father) for not being properly prepared for the presence of bum b*tches in his life. Red flag should've went off the minute he realized she had a kid for another high-profile man. Derek Jeter needs to open up his own school to tutor these men on how to handle these situations.

I don't know you, so if I cross a line- let me know. But having heard her take, what do you think she'd have in store for you if things go south and there are finances/kids involved?

The poor guy has to give 10% of his income to support his child and now makes only $29 mil a year.

Is he supporting his child or his baby mother, who evidently couldn't earn more than $100 of her own money during her proximity to a man who has made over $100 million in his career? I wouldn't have an issue if the bulk of the child support was put into some kind of trust for the kid until they can manage it themselves at 18. But beyond the pre-agreed things in the court documents, like education, "extracircular aftivities" etc., that money is going into the pocket of the mother. And if all this is done in the interests of the child, what leads you to believe that level of wealth will be managed well or in the better interest of the child by a mother who couldn't earn more than $100 to put into her own bank account? And what are the greater implications that will occur from incentivizing cute bum bitches to bring life into the world as a get-rich-quick scheme? You don't think that will have a negative impact on society as a whole?

If I was a high level athlete I'd freeze my sperm in multiple banks and get a vasectomy. No way am I taking any chances. If its a divorce situation the kids don't have to worry about anything. Your right most of that money should go to the children. Can someone explain why Blake Griffin has to cloth this woman in Versace for the next 18 years? Isn't it enough she will get a house, a car, all expenses paid. She also gets to bank roll trips to the galapagos islands for her and her family.

Hmmm good question I hope Triple-Threat weighs-in on that one.

apparently this was a fake report.

https://sports.yahoo.com/no-blake-griffin-isnt-playing-258000-per-month-child-support-230210368.html

But way to blame the mother and disparage her on the internet without knowing anything about the situation.

Lol, this is great news for her. Now she can cut another check from those outlets that defamed her "character".

I get the logic behind getting a vasectomy but I'm mortified by the thought of something going wrong. I know it's a pretty routine procedure but I'm far more inclined to wear condoms than go that route. But precautions definitely need to be taken...lest you get protrayed as a "deadbeat Dad" like Paul George did when he accidently knocked up that stripper.

I wonder what Matt Leinart's child support payment is.

You mean they weren't actually married? Don't think she has a case then on the civil side, don't really know much about martial law. I too thought child support has a cap
