LeBron could have not chased a ring in Cleveland which can make Cavs fans feel crappy again. He could have done what he did and continued it making the finals year in and year out. Going to the lakers proves he doesn’t care for finals or winning a chip. He is going to get knocked out in the first or second round.

Be interesting to see what happens next. If the Lakers can get another star, like Leonard the Lakers could well be contenders. Right now though that roster isn't much better than Clevland with Lebron.

What they are hoping to do is trade these guys at the deadline for literally anything they can get and approach next offseason by offering Klay Thompson a contract and also signing Leonard to a sub max, if they don't trade for him first. Thompson's dad played for the Lakers and alongside Magic. Their approach is the repeater tax line will break up the Warriors. Thompson is a great defender and often neutralizes LBJ. They re also hoping Draymond Green goes elsewhere for the max.

While it would be completely illegal, Nike would offer Leonard a shoe deal that essentially works as a proxy for money left on the table from a Spurs super max.

You cannot beat the Warriors clean, you just have to try to poach their pieces.

This...The hate that some have toward LeBron is unreal...Not saying "Shinmen" is hating, but I'm being general....


Actually I'm not critizing Lebron in this matter even though I don't like the guy in general. I just don't understand why LAL is getting so much praise. Like C.Paul to the rockets. These are not good deals and for once it's not the knicks.

They don't deserve praise. These are all or nothing signings. There will be many unmovable contracts available in short order.
