this is an interesting player who is actually quite athletic for his tremendous size who doesnt have great basketball skills but improved tremendously his senior year. this guy can actually run and jump a bit with very long arms--the differnce a guy like Edwards is compared to let say the 7 footer Chan we looked at is the athletiscm. Sometimes big guys take time to develop, but the old adagae is you cant teach size, especially guys with some decent athletic ability. Now he may turn into nothing but at 7-1 270 with a 7-5 wingspan and athletic ability its worth a 300,000 gamble. Brad miller turned out pretty good after a few years of seasoning.


I think this means Scott Pollard will be a Hawk for sure now. With 7-0 260 Harrison and Edwards they have the 3rd back up slots at C taken care of.
