Cleveland is one of them team with a wealth of talents at all positions. A lot of folks are sleeping on this team, but the one great thing they have going for them is the Sillas. Here is a guy that was pretty much unemployed, but the Layden front-office didn't even offer this guy a contract. Imagine Sillas as our coach????

I don't know if I agree with you on Silas. He had some pretty good teams in Charlotte and I think they underachieved alot...especially in the playoffs. I do think he is a good coach, especially for a young team but not a great coach.

i think the magics are gonna be the surprise of the season, they have just as talented backcourt as anyone in francis, cat, and jameer nelson. and talented big man in dwight howard and nice role players.

Cleveland lost Boozer so its hard for me to guage how that will affect them next season. He was a big part of their success last season.

True but I think a lot of the success had to do with Lebron. They will be fine with Gooden. I think they are one of the most under rated teams in the east along with the Knicks.

Gooden might pick up his game in cleveland along side Lebron but as it stands now Gooden is no Carlos Boozer.Thats why I cant say at this point whether he will pick up the slack,he might though.Ive watched too many games of him with the magic where he was dissapointing. Its his 3rd team in 2 years.

The problem is that Gooden has never played next to a Superstar like Allan Houston that elavates the game of the players around him. So what if he played with Tracy. I know people think T-MAC is all good and stuff but he aint no Houston.

Bring Gooden to NY and run him next to H2O and then its all over. All Houston needs is a awesome penetrating PG, a low post threat PF, a really amazing SF that can play defense and a shut down center that can rebound anything. Once we can sorround Houston with a team like that, we are winning a championship.

Nobody's mentioned Luke Jackson. If he's as good as advertised he's going to elevate that team.

What in the world does Houston has to do with this conversation??? Gooden is a very effective player when he is playing his natural position PF, HE will definitely be the X-factor.

I think you're kidding, I hope you're kidding....you could pretty much surround ANYONE with a team like the magical team you suggest and win a championship.

Yes I am kidding. But I think Gooden will be very effective playing next to Lebron. I think they will miss Boozer but not as much as some people think they will.

Holy poop, I nearly fell over laughing. :)

You're wrong though. Shandon Anderson is the real star and player to build around. All you need is a strong defensive center, a low post PF, a two-way SF, a shoot-the-lights out SG, and a killer PG. Oh, and a deep second unit that will keep him off the floor.
