Frank is younger than Ayton, Bamba, Bridges, Porter, Alexander and other prospects.

And already an elite defender.

Discuss.

Yup. That's what I tried to stress to those who are not big believers in him. He is still so young and will only get better. It makes his defense look even more impressive at such a young age. I predict his offense will take a big leap given all the work he is putting in so far this offseason

Yup...

And in a year you've seen some impressive physical growth- added (naturally) an inch to his height and bulk to his body through weight training...and he only turns 20 the end of July.

The next change is his attitude on the offensive end. He has the tools, in my opinion, but he needs an attitude.

Frank is going to be really good. His numbers may never jump off the stat sheet, but should be an all-league defender and good secondary playmaker. I think he's a combo guard that eventually starts here at SG or SF.

Tayshaun Prince with Pippen-level passing. Pippen without the elite fast twitch muscle fiber.

Darryl Walker as is.

Frank takes what defenses give him, and he might turn into a special player. Will he? I guess we will that find out..

defensive specialist and role player at least. If he can elevate his offense to near average he can be a long term starter at the 2. Doubt he will develop the handle and penetration to be an adequate point guard.

Question for those who are big fans of him: Are there any expectations of him this year that he should meet or is his upcoming season an unconditional success based on what he is currently already?

Must improve his efficiency. But players that can guard 1-4, beast man to man defense, shoot, put the ball on the floor, create for others. Having these combination of skills are very very hard to come by. He isn't efficient enough in the shooting though for that to be considered a plus for him yet but he is capable. He also showed flashes of floaters, turn around, post gsme at separate times throughout the season. As well as pull ups off the dribble from 3 or mid range. Again hasn't been consistent enough to claim it as his game yet but he has shown flashes with good form and in control. It's up to his work ethic which he has in spades to put in the reps to get it down. He also seems to be transforming his body.

He may not be a pure PG. But he also can do things that most PGs cant. For example if you have a PG who can guard whoever he switches onto. There aren't many PGs that can claim that. That is game changing type of ability. As if the PF/C can also not get destroyed guarding the perimeter off the switch and that's if Frank even allows the switch to be successful.

I like the guy's game, his character and intelligence. I think he'll be an improving offensive player both from the outside and in going to the hoop. I think he'll win the starting pg job, average an efficient 12-15 ppg with 6 assists and very good d.

I'd just like to see him take a step forward and show some general improvement. At this stage it's about his direction rather than where he's at- won't really start properly assessing him until years 3 or 4.
