is it me or does it seem like I am watching a 6'11 guy that can barely dunk?

while everything about Noah's acquisition was a disaster if he can get some time on the floor he brings a lot of needs. I hate that a guy with a game most Knick fans would appreciate has been such a waste (nobody's fault but Noah's). He's here. He could help if he's healthy.

dude... that is a brutal drill. If you want to work cardio take a basketball and hit a layup. As soon as the ball is through the hoop grab it for another layup. Keep doing that and tell me how you feel about about 60 seconds.

Not to make excuses for Noah though... its entirely possible he's simply done and he knew it which is why he took the PEDs. "If I could only get a little bit closer to where I was I could...." (get caught using PEDs)

He looks lead footed. He is not an NBA player anymore. The game has passed by this type of center. He's not a freak athlete, nor an offensively skilled player. He can get by for short spurts on energy alone, but the game has changed so much since he was an elite defensive player just a few years ago. He is aging and simply can't change his game at this point.

Nixluva is posting triangle screen grabs, even when nobody asks - Fishmike. LOL So are we going to reference that thread like the bible now? "The thread of Wroten Page 14 post 9" - EnySpree

who knows - maybe someone from the team told him to be ready. We might have only one center come the start of the season.

I agree with everything Fish said, and wouldn't things look very different if we had Robin Lopez still!

You may lose your jumper. It comes back after practice. But rebounding and defense come from positioning and conditioning. This is where Noah is now. If he gets his conditioning back, his knowledge of the game should carry him through.

Same, also looks really out of shape... but with that said, Noah never really relied on athletic ability. He’s a high energy, high IQ basketball Player who can really see the floor.

Never worked on his shot and in today’s NBA if your not a athletic freak, you need to be able to spread the floor. Inside game is dead in the nba and if you can’t shoot your a waste of space, defense is still important but is no longer a top priority. The nba is speed ball with layups and threes. There’s no place in the nba for players like Noah, unless they bring back hand checking the three ball is gonna keep raining and the defense is gonna be a joke.

who relies on Noah for scoring, the guy has avg 7 shot attempts peer game for his career, has one of the ugliest shooting forms i have ever seen. career 9 points per game.

If he gets 3 layups/dunks a game that would be generous

You're talking about 7 inches plus extra wingspan. I could dunk at 5'11 a few years back. Noah looks extremely un-athletic.

Yeah, it's impossible how far in he is during the drill. It look's tough, so I can't pass judgement either way. Plus, Noah was never really a high flyer.

It would be like you just being able to swat the bottom of the net, as a pro.

We also have no idea what stage of the workout he was in either...might have been closing exercises after a 2 hour workout, for all we know.

Training camp also isn't until Sept or Oct. Thats 3 months away. Just the fact Noah is doing something this active has to be a good sign.
