he's a little too ra-ra corporate for my taste but he does call and enthusiastic game which I like. I always liked the Gus Johnson Clyde combo myself.

I'll miss Marv. I like Breen, good for him. And I have to say, every time I turned on the Olympics these past few weeks, I thanked god that Al Trautwig wasn't calling Knicks games anymore.

No one will be able to replace Marv, but as long as Dolan doesn't give Clyde the boot, I may be able to move on.

But I will say this, Breen now owns a classic Knick call, for me atleast: "Marbury with the steal. Houston wide open for three. BANG! TIE GAME!"

I forgot about Gus Johnson......

He's always excited to call anything. They all have there catch phrases and Gus' is "Pure!"......I like him.

I like Breen though and it seemed like they were gonna make this move anyway because he was making more important appearances then any of those guys on MSG.....

When I was in high school Mike Breen used to hold me down every night because my moms didn't have cable. Mike and Clyde on the Radio used to be something I looked forward to. When a game did come on TV I used to turn the sound off and blast the radio so I could hear them. Mike and Clyde were always better that Marv and Fratello IMHO.

^^ That was a great moment. I was sitting next to my sister, a Maverick fan, when that happened. It was awesome.

That was the Dallas game right? DId we win?

Breen definately is the man. I think he will be fine next to Clyde.

Yes it was the Dallas game, but no we didn't win. We lost in OT something like 125-120, but that was one of the few games I would love to watch again, despite the outcome. I remember us getting killed the entire game, but pulling it together in the 4th.

This is the game right? Sure does look like H2O carried us to that OT. I only wish we had 5 H2O's on the Knicks.

57 points from our starting backcourt! Let's see if Steph and Jamal can break that mark this season.
----------------------------------------------------------------
The one thing I hate about OT losses...one free throw in regulation could have brought you a win.

I have a feeling Steph and Jamal will top that a few times. I hope Steph and Allan can top it too.

Actually, I just looked at the box score and they combined for 67 points!!! I don't know if they can top that...but I have a feeling these Knicks will be involved in quite a few shoot outs.

My bad, I should be paying closer attention in math class. Those addition problems can get mighty tricky .

What's alarming about that game is Dallas front court scored 93 points.

Nash had Finley with him anyway.....they countered Knicks 67 points with 53pts in the back court.

Knicks need to get a better option than KT.....at least someone that can get out and guard a Dirk, Jaimison, Walker type player.
