We should only draft a 2 way player, no matter the position. This way we don't have to keep finding compensating players to offset the 1 way players we frequently employ (eg Melo). Trae Young may be Curry 2.0, but I'd pass simply because of his limited defensive potential. I'd go Sexton if we decide to pick a point guard - he can play with Frank or Hardaway Jr, plays tough D, can facilitate and score. I'd def go Mikal Bridges if we select a SF, Bamba as a C if he is somehow available, Porter maybe the wildcard if available b/c of his injury... Yes we need offense, but not at the expense of non-existent defense. Seems like Fizdale wants to bring an old school mentality back to the Knicks - I welcome it if they play tough D and hope we draft consistently with this approach. Who else are the 2 way players we may be able to draft at 9 and 36?

I like SGA lower down if we trade with the Clips. Don't like Sexton OR Trae

I cannot teach anybody anything. I can only try to make them think - Socrates

Rose is not the answer.

To me there is a clear top 9. Doncic, Ayton, Bagley, Jackson, Bamba, Young, porter, carter, and Mikal and all we have to do is take the one that’s left. After that there is a bit of a drop or significantly less consensus we will say.
