I wanna have a convo with Fizdale about stuff that's been bothering me, just to see if he makes me feel better seems to have the gift of gab.

Not only does he know what to say, he knows how to say it.

When has KP said that about anyone in this organization other than Melo.

It's especially impressive he had this connection over the phone. I can only imagine once he gets an opportunity to spend time with him overseas, it will be that much better. Also, had to imagine he left a great impression with his brother considering KP's approval post.

Kristaps Porzingis is back to loving Knicks for life. ... When Steve Mills was promoted to the presidency this summer, he said he had an active “texting relationship” with Porzingis. In Africa for a promotion earlier this month, Porzingis said he's happy as a Knick and wanted to spend his career there.Aug 30, 2017

I have an opinion and that Mills made good on a promise to move JH if certain parameters were met. JH one year in really did not do a bad job justifying removing him with two years left on a three year deal. Also The team had exile Phil and needed a GM. The GM Also had to be part of the coaching decision and it made no sense to gut the coaching staff When Perry was hired given I think it was late august. Perry would have no way to evaluate his team before making a change.
KP has to be happy because Mills is upholding a promise? Could be. NEw coaching staff is expensive also.
Knicks are making good decisions. We just don’t know if we get good results from them.

lol....You ever seen that movie "DISCONNECT" you should check it out, it's a very deep movie

you think emails and text message hold more weight than an actual face to face convo.

Everybody wants to retire a knick once they get here, nobody wants to to leave until the drama and losing becomes overwhelming

You asked a question:
“When has KP said that about anyone in this organization other than Melo.”

Fiz and KP talked on the phone. Not in person. Fiz met His brother in person.

KP must've seen coach's wife on Instagram lol Instagram models are the only thing I've seen get KP this excited...I understand KP, Natasha got me excited about Mr. Sen's hiring too. Joking aside, I'm glad Fiz seems to be bringing good vibes. We're going to need a good laugh from time to time next season.

Could see the coming a mile away. With KPs affection for hip hop culture and Fizz ability to spit game. Its easy to see KP being drawn to Fizz swag.

Awesome. What a difference a year makes. Last year it was all drama and trade rumors.

I don’t know man KP seems a little out of control to me. Off the court this guy has been making trouble back home.

Is there something new or are you talking about his speeding incident last year?

This is a rehash of last year's incident. Another athlete mentioned that Kristaps was difficult offhandedly in a recent video and it got blown out.

Seeing what happened we would have been better off trading him. We're not going to get much out of him next season and then we'll have to max him.

I am comfortable with whatever the new management team decides to do. I was not comfortable with Phil moving him. Many of Phil's trades were made because he was done with a player and was ready to move on. Everybody in the league knew what he wanted to do and he did not get good value back when he made trades. Phil also seemed to be motivated by the rebliousness of the roster at the end of the season and letting everyone know who was in charge. The Knicks haven't done KP any favors up to this point. Three coaches in three years, flip flopping on their commitment to an offensive system, no roster continuity, and mediocre at best point guard play so far is not a good developmental program for a young super star.

No choice in this situation for Zinger.

Fizdale is going to be here for 2-3 years at minimum. The worst case scenario is 3 seasons. First year is always a "honeymoon" season for any new coach. Plus Fizdale has pedigree and experience and some positive track record behind him. These 2-3 years will cover Zingers injury phase and his quest to get a max possible extension offer. Or raise his value enough so when he walks, he will have best options available to him in the marketplace.

Knicks would have already talked to Zinger before they hired anyone. Insane not to as such and repeat more conflict that no one wants.

Zinger is a narcissist. Most NBA player are to be honest. So it's all about him, all the time. Fizdale is a means to an end for that best option for free agency and/or a max deal possible. Everyone gives a new coach a ton of "love" early on, costs them nothing, and it's a better position to be in if things work out for said coach.

99 percent of the time, what's said in the sports media is canned, packaged and planned out extensively.

If you don't show up to your exit meeting, you don't respect anyone, including yourself. So anything he says about Fizdale or anyone is all buzz and noise to me.

Knicks should trade him first chance they get.

I haven't given up in KP yet, because I always prefer homegrown talent. But I also think some of this is true. KP has shown distinct lack of maturity and inclination towards self obsession. Having a two bit piece of **** to look up to during your formative years in the NBA is always a problem. But with a positive environment and a focus on organic growth instead of stupid playoff exits and "All Star" games, he may be able turn in the right direction.

I cannot teach anybody anything. I can only try to make them think - Socrates
