Fizz is gonna want to push the pace. If any president/GM gives him 20 million, they deserved to be fired and band from the NBA like 2 minutes after he signs the contract. He's definitely a back up ES

Donovan was the guy he wanted over Brooks and that hasn't turned out that well. If I had to guess, I would say George leaves and they buy out Melo. They know they need to keep Grant.fishmike wrote:knicks1248 wrote:Cause the last guy who gave him a big contract is regarded as one of the best GMs in the business. Like every other player in the NBA when deciding if there worth keeping it comes down to money. Is Kanter a nice player to have? Sure. Does Kanter produce enough wins to warrant 20 million a year? No frickin way. I view Kanters value to the team at about half of that, 4 years 40-45 million. I view him as a solid 6th man.
At some point Id like to see us build a winner but if we continue to overpay players like Kanter, Hardaway, Noah we will never win anything. We paid those guys 55 million last year. How the **** do you expect to make the playoffs paying bench players borderline All Star salaries. Please Knicks do the smart thing for once Trade Hardaway for anyone that has a shorter contract Don't resign Kanter unless its for half of what he makes now.
