Basically what we learned here is celebs go to games for free. They call the garden and get tickets.
Hawks was one of those celebs. However he went on talk shows and trashed Dolan and the team.
Next time he calls in for his free tickets they say "that will be $8700."

This is some bull crap u make at least 5 million a movie and mad u have yo psy for tickets while ppl who make 200 a week are forced to do it. Damn makes no sense

Woodie Allen got the same treatment from Dolan and still pays for his own tickets. I don't want to call out anyone's fandom, but...

Dolan wanted Allen to do a spot for MSG, I believe. Woody doesnt even do Directors commentary on the DVDs to his own films. Dolan didnt like it, but it wasnt out of character for him to say no. Allen has been a season ticket holder forever.

Hawke is an idiot. There is a way to be a fan and objective but Dolan gives those seats I assume go unsold for "celebrity row" and they can use their likeness on promo's. If you go on Fallon he kind of "Should" be positive about the team. Not stupid homer like, but your getting the tickets for return of some value.
Hawke was not kicked out, he can buy tickets like anyone else and talk about what ever he wants. So in my book Hawke is being the lessor for this.
Dolan is petty but the reality is Hawke should have the common sense.
I have a friend that owns and restaurant and he often picks up my bill. If the food super amazing every time? No. I will never say a bad word because its just plain rude to do so. Hawke was being rude after being given free tickets. For him to not pay for his own tickets proves he is not a Knick fan. That, or he is just plain stupid.

Hawke...He wasn't kicked out or told to stay away. He was getting tix for free and now isn't and is acting like he's owed them. Have no use for people who have to be paid to be a 'fan'.

Dolan and Hawke are nowhere in the same stratosphere as far as rich. Hawke might as well be "poor" to Dolan. Dolan net worth 1.5B. Hawke 55M.
In that sense, Dolan is the pettiest dude when it comes to anything Knicks.
