Draft pick: Mikel bridges
RFA signing: Montrezl Harrell
UFA : None
Bring him back: Jarrett Jack, Beasley
Get rid of them : Mudiay & Lee(Package deal for picks or expiring), Kanter(Let him walk), Kornet or Hicks(Best player stays)

Noah/(Kornet or Hicks/ Veteran Player
Beasley/Harrell/KP(injured)
Bridges/Williams/Thomas
Hardaway/Baker/
Ntilikina/Burke/Jack

Strong advocate to bring back jack and let go of mudiay, we have a young backcourt and need jack to settle them in and stay in their ear.
Harell is a high energy guy, which we dont have in the frontcourt.
Bridges is a no-brainer given his pedigree, team needs and how the game is played now.
Noah should still stay with the team and see if we can trade him for an expiring contract sooner or later.
Fizdale and stack as top coaches to implement our culture and develop our players

Since KP is not involved in the coach search and his exit interview stunt last year some fans are thinking we need to trade KP now!
Like if this was true it would be some secret that fans, the team but none other knows!!!!
when KP trades multi generational wealth for "Winning" then we will know its true.
I think it might be a good thing he was asked, but the reality is if he is and it turns bad, then its sort of on him too. Not a good locker room thing.
Also, he might have made his opinions known and asked it just be kept in the room. His media response we generic so I don't know how some can read into that.
His absence last year was a mistake but it was done. Net effect was the team made its choice, KP was "The Man" and now he'll have a choice to take an extension, or if he waits team can have more cap space. if he wants to win, he'll wait. Knicks might want to make sure the knee is ok but I think medically they will have an idea well before the oct 30th deadline.
If he is intent on going restricted it won't be for money. If that's the case we can orchestrate a trade.
As for "Not firing JH for calling him out playing like a wuss......" I doubt that was a big deal and again the bottom line was JH did nothing that egregious to warrant a firing last year, he was instructed to run a system that was not working, and he actually did not do a bad job. Yet, he was still fired. So the team is commited to putting in the right pieces for a structure of culture. This is not terrible and KP is still very young.
Not discussed enough is if the team is successful he gets to be the king of NY. Media will never be 100% kind to him but he knows this.
Melo did handle his media image well even in the face of adversity. KP got to see that and perhaps learn.
Cleaanthony had a very bad lesson on the dark side of the city.

OK lol this is veering wayyy off topic just wanted to know who guys want or did not want here. I personally don't think trading him is good idea. We pinned for a talent like this and then nitpick like he is vet. He is 22 and is rehabbing so that's all he wants to concentrate on. I understand that. Its on our staff to bring out the best in him. And surround him with pieces. I think thJ and Frankie are on OK BACK COURT, JUST OK tho. Lol. We need to nail the coach and draft,seems we say this every year. Which is why I think blatt and Mikel bridges and Ellie okobo. And getting a guy like Rundle would turn us round for he better. A five of kp -randke- Mikel bridges- thj- FP. Would be a nice start to a rebuild.

If JVG weren’t gone from coaching for so long, I would say him but he’s been gone for far too long. The only reason I would choose Stackhouse is because we are rebuilding and this coming year will definitely not be a good one so it wouldn’t be bad to get his feet wet even though he’ll be under the microscope quick. Not sure about Blatt bc he looked like a pushover to LeBron in Cleveland. As for Fizdale, it never looks good when you lose your team. I’m honestly not sure if I love any of these candidates. I guess Stack could be my first option.

Fitz only lost gasol and Dave joeger said he thought gasol was trying to get him fired so it might just be gasol .
