Some guy on the espn board said he heard about a deal that would send Glen Rice to Toronto for Keon Clark, Tracy Murray, and Micheal Stewart. I checked it on realgm trade checker and it does work, but he did not specify a source so it's probably just hot air. Still, it's something interesting to talk about because Clark would be a nice fit in New York. I would probably even throw in Lavor Postell or a future pick in the deal to convince toronto.

Toronto might like Rice because he would play well against a zone defense plus he takes a lot of pressure of Carter from the other perimeter. He would also give Peterson more time to develop. Clark is a mirror image of what Camby was when he was sent here and will probably end up like Camby is now or maybe even better. Though they might get pushed around a bit, it would be fun to see Camby and Clark on the court at the same time. Clark would make a great back-up to Camby and Thomas and would be a real crowd pleaser in New York.

Glen Rice + Postell and Picks to the Raps for Keon Clark? Please. Please. We have enough tweener 4s, who we can ask to play Center. We don't need another, in Keon Clark. Yes, he's a young gun. But I'd only trade Othella for Keon. Othella is basically a duplicate KT, with less offense, and lots less defense and toughness. Othella is the team roly-poly... Send him north for Keon, a sky-walker, with no bulk. NYK, do not give up any more picks to Toronto, they stole Childs from us!

keon clark for rice would be horrible. First of all we should not trade rice to a contender in the east. Rice is finally healthy and with the new zone rules he could really have a very good year (I would be very happy with trading rice to a western conf team). We do not need keon clark. You said that keon clark would be a good backup for camby, well when camby is at his best he is playin 35-40 minutes which would leave no time for clark. If you have clark and camby in there together at 4 and 5 they would get pushed around, i dont care how much bigger camby is.
ya cant stop me, you can only hope to contain me

I agree killacross. I don't see the Knicks making a trade with Toronto because they wouldn't want to help them out.

I agree with both of you. I do like Clark, but i think in order to get him new york would have to organize a three-way that would send Rice out west or to a non-contender.
