Frank cant shoot, it ok he's only 19

Frank turns the ball over too much, it ok he's only 19

Frank makes too many ill advised passes, it's ok he's only 19

Give frank more minutes, it's ok he's only 19

Frank can play how ever he likes because he's only 19

Next season is going to be worse, can you remember a single rookie (aside from david lee) that has progress in his 2nd yr under the knicks management, I don't even think that's debatable.

KP. Look it up.
And, why is history a determiner for the future if its plainly obvious our FO is commited to youth?
What does any other rookie under any other coach or GM in Knick History matter if this is what we are doing now with our staff, and Management?

Yes, Frank is only 19. How many kids out of high school can make the leap to the NBA and impact a game?
Frank can defend, He is only 19.
Frank can impact a game. He is only 19.
Frank is a league leader in steals. He is only 19.
Frank impressed enough to be in the all rookie game. He is only 19.
Rookies are inconsistent. Rookies with potential are given leeway.

Yes, KP absolutely improved in year 2. I don't get where people say he didn't. Makes zero sense.

you can generally assuming anything knicks1248 is wrong.

We are 11 games under 500, what kind of impact has he had, or anybody for the matter, we have a team full of inconsistent players across the boards, including the coaching staff.

The worst part is, management is going to eventually change, the coach is going to change, and unless we are winning, most of the players will be gone, just like it always has been when your losing. The culture hasn't change NOLAD, we're a HIGH TURNOVER company "sort of speak".

The knicks higher inexperience ppl, and even when they do hire the right person (coach, player, management) the best player doesn't have help or the coach and management are not on the same page.

We can go round and round with your empty rants.
WE all can see the team is losing more than it wins. If you change your decision making process you will have different results than those made in the past.

Thats whats different.
Until recently we have not had the draft picks or pedigree prospects to grow off of. KP and Frank are different than many of the picks we have had.
KP statistically has improved every year. You said otherwise. Your wrong.
Since "we don't develop players in the past", then in your view we don't, and never will because we never have. You don't say why other then thats our history. Thats your take. YOu'll repeat this over and over, and I will push back over and over.

Knicks1248: 1. Dolan should be more involved! 2. Why would any knick fan want pick 8, when that spot has a history of producing marginal NBA taken. (He prefers pick 9th instead)

Common sense says a 19 yr old Baller in the NBA should be used as a combo-guard throughout his rookie season. Rubio hasn't let Mitchell take the PG role for more than 6 minute per game.
Frank N are 10 times more of a PG than no-plan Hornacek are a headcoach.
Under Hornacek coaching our two big men Kanter and TIRED-KP are scoring bums who are clueless on team-defense n protecting the paint from opponents inside scoring. The two big men Kanter n KP don't know how to screen or pick for the guards or box out for each other to score or rebound plus their no effort on defense in the 2nd half of the game are the main reason the Knicks can't win road games receiving 20 or more minute of playingtime in the 2nd half of the game this season.
Knicks NEED a new coaching staff n a new head coach !!!

Frank is the 2nd youngest player going into this season and the youngest with a legit role. Only guy younger is Ike Anigbogu, C, Indiana Pacers and he doesn’t play. We have to keep a sense of perspective about Frank. We knew his Defense was far ahead of his offense. That makes it seem like he’s not destined to end up as a PG but it’s hard to tell how much progress he’s going to make over the next 3 yrs when he’s gonna be just 22!!!

this is all true

Except the fact Mitchell isn't a point guard. Mitchell is proving to be a scorer... I think it's ridiculous to say player wasn't letting another player do something.... Mitchell is averaging 19.4 for the season... He's averaging 21pts a game since January 1st.... so spare me the bull**** comment that Rubio isn't letting Mitchell do something.

Then you want to lie about the Knicks interior defense.... when KP lead the league in blocks. Kanter is one of the best rebounders in the league but he's not boxing out?

Then someone has the nerve to cosign it. Unbelievable.

You know why I'm here....

Yep. Guys who get hyped about Mudiay forget that he didn't look like an NBA player or point guard his rookie season either. I can say that the team was playing effective, winning basketball when Frank was playing point guard. The physicality of the league has caught up to him, which is understandable. Maybe Frank isn't a point guard, but he has shown enough flashes for me not talk in absolutes. I like Mudiay also. He has a ways to go, but hopefully he learns.

Mudiiay averaged 12 pts a game with 5 assists and 3 rebounds.... Frank isn't even close to that even if you project his production over 36 minutes.... the argument that mudiuay didn't look like an NBA player is complete bull****. It's the NBA not the cba in China. It's not easy to average 12 and 5.

Frank went from playing ok and showing flashes to going blank across the board on the stat line. You guys have to stop lying about what's going on here

You keep bringing up the 12,5 and three but you keep neglecting things fg%, turnovers and defense. He also averaged a healthy 30 minutes a game. Mudiay sucked his rookie year and, as you saw, that crap didn't cut it as the team got better. 12 and 5 is easy when the team has nothing to play for and the organization just lets you play minutes. But all the metrics showed Mudiay wasn't an NBA player his rookie year. The way Denver handled him that year probably hurt his development. Anyway, see the double standard?
