Heh, has anyone ever used the name of a Knick in a film? Have you ever Seen a Pat Ewing, or John Starks? Well, I'm directing a short film, about a little kid who starts killing his peers on Halloween and his name is Trevor...Trevor Ariza, haha. Just thought I'd let all of you know since I find it funny.

Kind of a disturbing thought. Come October, I may have to keep an eye on my little cousins.

BigRedDog, it's not my problem you don't have a twisted dark imagination which seperates the normal from the genious'. I am a filmmaker and I have never seen anything as shocking, nor thought of anything as shocking, as little kids dying from mass hysteria of a little kid, whom is seven years old, going crazy. This will be done in taste, but some may think of it as wrong, but you know what....What makes this so different than true life crimes of today? You have basketball players getting away with Rape, and former basketball players getting away with murder of limo drivers. The world we live in sure is f-ed up, but you know what...It takes a man to actually try to make a difference through arts and do something different, and not just the same old crap ie: Hollywood movies, the same happy endings... This is a cult film, a horror movie, a way to express how you feel. The reason I am doing this short film is to show why the human mind is so messed up when it's pushed to the limit.

One, I've always wanted to do a movie on Halloween, ever since I saw Halloween in 1978.

Two, it's SHOCKING.

And three, my parents are really proud of me, and by the way, I am 22 years old. I am not a kid, so don't talk down to me as if I was one. I am a man. A grown up. Grown ups can still have a fun time....What do you do? Sit at your desk and work all the time? I actually go out and film and make a living doing this **** because I love to direct. I can even direct yo mamma fool.

I dont want to start a flame war,Ill just say that I disagree with your reasoning for naming him Trevor Ariza but its your film and you should go where your heart takes you.

I strongly recommend that you read "Story" by Robert Mckee.Its considered to be the Bible on screenwriting and I guarantee it will open your eyes about film making.It was even featured in the film "Adaptation".I was very glad I read it.

What about Fred Weiss? Then you could play off the Freddie Krueger thing. Plus all the pent-up hostility from being teased so much (being French, sucking, getting dunked on by VC, etc.).
