Wojo stated the obvious on the broadcast last night that picks are not being thrown around like they were a few years ago.
The hard cap is taking picks as a greater priority. THe Nets trade to boston had horrific consequences. Its tough to trade out a few years.
A horrible injury to star player where he loses a year. Remember when Boston tanked and David Robinson got hurt and SAS got Duncan? Say KP fulfills his destiny but blows out an ACL and loses a year? Not a career ender but if we don't have our pick that year.........Its a problem! Gotta protect those picks!!!
and Phuch the notion that anyting in our history should prevent us from moving ahead. With a priority on youth you don't give up because you run into development walls!! Those who understand expect it. We beat Boston a few weeks ago at home. We lost last night. Team was awful. Go a few games like then then we can talk "Team is tuning out coach, etc". But not after one quarter.
Noah is not a problem. He is home. Im sure he is a proud man and wants to play. He can, just give up money. if he chooses money then he has to go with our timeline.
Every fan wants him to be healthy and succeed. Trade him with our 1st rounder? Im not liking that. Id rather trade Willy with him.
