What's up with Jeff

How do we even know how good noah is right now, for all we know he can be playing better than KOQ in practice. The dude is making 18 mill and healthy..it's ridiculous, especially the energy he brings

Why signed burke, play him in UTAH, then talk about how well he played, and how he did things a PG suppose to do, then bench him to bring back the same style that has the team struggling.

Why when we need points you bring in baker instead of dotson.

The game against the pelicans, how many times did lance end up guarding AD..

The more we play frank(since we got burke), the more i believe we are tanking.

His love affair with baker, lance, and frank(for defense purposes) despite giving up a 120+ points against the one of best and worst teams in the league is mind boggling.

Why is the coach talking, "it's not about wins and losses", and half the team is talking "playoffs".

I'm ready for Mark Jackson

Se-cret Tan-kers, yeah, thats what we are...

I dont believe he is tanking. Gets too amped about bad calls. So many moves discussed, Id like to see a legit starting PG running the show, before we change the frontcourt, or fire the coach. Some things Xs and Os cant fix. Dont believe he's lost the team as of now.

LOL we do this every year--we think were good and look up from the 10th seed and 122 games under. Its rinse repeat with the Knicks. No tanking--were just not good.

Players and coaches don't tank. JH is coaching for his job and if he didn't care about winning then he'd be playing Willy, Frank, D.Dotson, T.Burke more and players definitely don't tank. I think JH is waiting to see what changes are made at the trade deadline, if any at all, and then we could see things change with lineups and player minutes. If Perry/Mills go out and add instead of selling (which is what they should do) then they're doing it to try to make the playoffs but if they sell (which is what they should do) then we could see more minutes from the young guys and less minutes and games off for KP. So lets wait to see what happens at the trade deadline which could tell us a lot about what JH/Perry/Mills are trying to do.

Cannot get blood from the stone.
I see players taken out when they suck and stop defending and running the plays regardless of who they are.
Having a couple of young talents who are learning the game and a couple of vets who can play the role is not good enough in NBA to win more that lose.
Surprise!!!

The Knicks "are who we thought the were".

Which is the rebuilding team that we viewed them as before the season started.

Everything else is mostly due to lack of reason more than anything else. We can kick, scream, throw fits, temper tantrums. However you want to label it and however you feel necessary to get through it. But it is what it is.

He puts them right back in the next game.

when burke and willy recently got minutes and did some good things, JH responded in the most nonchalant manner.

When frank, lance or baker have a few good moments, he's praising them like their intangibles are priceless, despite all 3 combining for 6 points.

It is not about what player did right on the court but about what he did wrong.
This called NBA level couching.
It is expected that NBA player is not taking positions off on defense and is not freelancing on offense unless he is proven supper-star.
Good playing habits can be only installed if they are reinforced EVERY position.
Horny is development coach on developing team.
He is tasked not with winning more games no matter what but develop players to play the right way.
And I think he is doing a good job with what he is given so far.

LOL, I agree with both of you. Yeah, it does seem to be the same old thing every year and it's frustrating. BUT.. I kinda agree with what Gus is saying too -- why not try to go out and add a quicker, preferably younger PG (an offensive-minded one) and see how the team responds NOW? I mean I like a lot of the parts we have in place -- Lee's playing well (the best he's looked since he's been here, much better than last year), Kanter's a GOOD player (too bad there not an immediate sense of urgency to call his number much more--I feel we could be getting so much more out of this dude), O'Quinn, Beasley... We have some damn good parts here. Jack, to me, is the problem. Dude is past his prime and it shows, even with him playing better over the last month or so. He's just not the answer for us--not now, not for the future past this year.. I've been calling out some names, guys we could get for nothing or very little--Cat Barber, Marcus Paige, Bryce Cotton I've always liked, or even maybe attempt a minor trade for a guy like Demetrius Jackson or Gary Payton II.. We chose Trey Burke -- OK, he fits what I'm looking for more or less. He's quick/offensive-minded, did what he had to do at Westchester (and then some) and earned a call-up, now give him a shot!! Agree with Knicks1248 -- give the man a shot now. He's looked good in limited minutes--the Net game, esp. closing out the game in Utah. I agree, give the man some more meaningful minutes. Shit, I'd start Burke to be honest. Let's see whole games with Burke/Frank at the helm and see how we look there. Jack's playing a bit better, yes, but come on guys, where are we going with him? NOWHERE! That's my thing.. Half a season left -- to me, if we don't find out as much as we can about Burke, it's a waste.

And that's not to say we shouldn't be opportunistic when we can, we should. Scour the landscape looking for improvements and to maximize talent/value -- if O'Quinn really does have some decent trade value, pull the trigger. If the Warriors really like him and they want to give us that last pick in the 1st round, I think we do that. Or some other move to restock and get a little younger/up the talent level -- KOQ to the Magic for Khem Birch/the rights to Janis Timma maybe? KOQ to the Pacers for Joe Young? To CHI for Antonio Blakeney? To Portland for Pat Connaughton? I dunno--see if those teams would be down for something like that. Then go out and call up Christian Wood or Brandon Ashley to cover O'Quinn's spot. I like O'Quinn but I look at either of these guys as a marked improvement athletic & talent-wise -- a guy like Wood/Ashley would allow us to match up much better with quicker forwards, like the slew of quicker Fs we saw against the Lakers (Randle, Kuzma, Ingram, Nance Jr.), then reincorporate Hernangomez back into the rotation full-time as a primary big. That's a big win to me w/o giving up much at all, just an attempt to maximize value. I'd like to see us look at stuff like that..
