One of those guys have to sit so we could see if burke is worth anything, We could even rest jack for some games.

What is JH and his coaching staff trying to prove. The scrappy fast lakers ran a track meet, and we put the slowest line up we have to counter it. Frank and burke look terrible together.

If THJ is on a minutes restriction, the least you can do is give him floor time with his college mate.

the 4th qtr should be

Burke
THJ
Lee
Beasely
KP.

we do have a serious rebound issue with this line up, but it's the best scoring attack.

Can we trade Lee and KOQ for Clarkson and Randle, it would seem like a perfect trade. The lakers get some veteran, high character guys (they desperately need) the salaries match, and we get guys more on KP and THJ's timeline.

No brainer

Yeah I’d take that. Randle is an animal. Serious mean streak to counter KP’s finesse.

Lee and KOQ for Randle and Clarkson. No brainer!
Do the Lakers feel the same? A team worse than us and this makes us that much better?
They clearing cap, KOQ is Expiring and Clee is paid fairly and should be a keeper.
Im not expert enough on the Lakers to know if this is what they would do?
No brainer, but whose brain?

Yeah we need to play Burke ahead of everyone.

That would be a steal for NY.

As I watched the other night, I kept saying that Clarkson is the type of player the team needs. Randle played well too. Not sure of his smarts but he gets a look in his eye and he is effective.

NY should look into those 2 guys. One or both would be great. That being said, I don't think LA wants to trade them and if so, it wont be cheap.

Knicks would probably have to send either Willy or Frank as well, then match up salaries. Clarkson is that good. Randle seems to be on the outs in LA. I know some want to trade Kanter for Randle. While Randle does some things defensively that Kanter cant, and is more mobile. Kanter has dominating performances in the paint, that only a few other bigs can match. And Randle has no mid or long range game to speak of.

The last word on Kanter should be after the Knicks have their legit starting PG. Hopefully that will happen soon, given his contract status. Want to see how this team performs with a PG who is enough of a threat on offense to give KP and Kanter easy looks for dunks, under the rim. Could force more teams to go big to match up with the Knicks, instead of the other way around.

There's multiple deals available with the lakers...lance baker, willy, koq..They may not want Lee if they are shedding sal. But even if we can come away with Randle and Nance JR, that's better than lance, baker, willy and dotson combine.

The Los Angeles Lakers are reportedly looking to trade some of their younger players in an effort to "shed salary for summer free agency."

Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN.com reported the news Monday, noting the Lakers have made Julius Randle and Larry Nance Jr. available in potential trades. Wojnarowski also wrote "there's a mutual desire to find something sooner than later" when discussing a possible Jordan Clarkson trade even though Los Angeles was previously hoping to wait until the end of the season.

Wojnarowski acknowledged the Lakers have "given up hope" of trading Luol Deng because they would also have to attach too many draft picks for another team to take on the "full balance of the $37 million owed."

Wojnarowski predicted the Lakers will have to use the waive and stretch to clear the cap space Deng's contract is occupying with the only way to avoid it being a situation in which he was "so desperate to leave Los Angeles before season's end to sign elsewhere on a minimum deal that he'd forfeit the $18.8 million on the 2019-20 season of his contract and accept a buyout."

Los Angeles is 12-27 and going nowhere fast this season, although the future is still bright with a young core and the possibility of attracting free agents this offseason if it clears the necessary cap space.

LeBron James immediately comes to mind, especially since he owns multiple houses in the Los Angeles area. Any team that adds James instantly becomes a contender considering he is a four-time league MVP and three-time champion who has been to the last seven NBA Finals with the Cleveland Cavaliers and Miami Heat.

He has a player option on his contract for the 2018-19 season, as does Oklahoma City Thunder forward Paul George. They can both exercise the options and become free agents, giving the Lakers high-profile players to target in an effort to reach the playoffs for the first time since the 2012-13 season.

George—a California native—even said as recently as Tuesday he "would have loved to go back home and play for my city" when discussing the chances the Lakers could have traded for him before the Thunder did, per The Oklahoman’s Erik Horne.

Even if Los Angeles traded Clarkson, Randle and Nance, it would still have young pieces in place to build around.
