This is another Real GM report.....
Anyone seen enough of Sundov to care? Sundov isn't a stiff but he sucks from what I remember. Maybe he got better or......

Geez the off season got crazy slow all of a sudden.

Why isn't Stromile signed yet?

MEM has told everyone they'd match any offer for Stromile, & they're trying to get a sign & trade worked out w/CHI for Curry or Chandler...Swift's only options are to sign w/ATL, Charlotte, re-sign w/MEM, or accept a sign & trade to another team like Chicago.
After 7 years & 40K+ posts, banned by martin for calling Nalod a 'moron'. Awesome.

Well as far as Stomile....
I think Atlanta is out of the question for him because they already have Al Harrington and Walker both of which can play the 3-4....

Stomile is a 4....He's definately not a 5.

Chicago has no clue what they want to do over there......If they trade Eddy Curry or Chandler for Stomile what would be the point?

Chandler and Stomile might be a wash and Curry could be a dominant center any day now....

WTF....

Keon sucks... look for him on the back of a milk carton.

Sundov is much like Mr. "traded for the key of the deal" Doleac. Bruno is 24 and can shoot. Aside from that I think he's a stiff. Maybe at 24 they see potential, maybe they see a good bench player...who knows. I think this fills out all 15 roster spots, no?

im sure it was finanical constraints. I wouldve rather spent my money differently then brewer and sundov. while we can say crawford can play some back up PG, if H2O is out, we are going to be putting to much burden on marbury and crawford. realistically moochie brewer and sundov are closer to CBA than NBA caliber. i wouldve liked to see something like buying out moochie not signing those 2 and going in a different direction like rodeny white.

How would we sign Rodney White? The best we can offer him is an LLE contract of 2 yrs, $1.6 mil per or an MLE contract starting at $1.5 mil. Do you really think he'd sign for that little? If so, I'd still sign him right now. (You're allowed to have more than 15 players until the season starts.)

Everyone needs to calm down. I'm sure Sundov's deal is not guaranteed. He is training camp fodder. I doubt he will make the roster. I wouldn't rule out Rodney or Keon. Relax guys. Zeke still has a month before camp, and then a month of camp to make changes. Something may still happen.

how are we able to sign jamison brewer and sundov? was it with league minimum or something, if so, can we just sign a bunch of these dudes for 1 year and then trade it to some team that needs cap space, cuz they are techinically expiring contracts.

No. The league rule is that you can only sign and trade your OWN players. Actually, the league doesn't even like this but it's a legal loop hole that the Knicks found to acquire none other than Chris Dudley.

no one is giving rodney white more than that. it wouldve been a better investment to buyout moochie not sign sundov or brewer --use penny as the back up PG and white as the back up 3-4-2
