I would do the last one and would consider all of them.

We would have to give up assets for Jordan, Pay Jordan large amounts of money to retain him, and he is 30yrs and out of our time line.
Okafor doesn't make sense for us.
Randle is intriging but again we would have to give up probably a future first for him and pay him to retain him and its not a guarantee that he can play full time center.
Deng is a tough one. As he would probably help more immediately then Noah. But he isn't a long term answer and moves our crowded center situation to a crowded wing situation. Especially if we look to add a SF for the future at the draft or something. We would have Hardaway, Lee, Deng, Thomas, with decisions on Dougie and will have Dotson and possible first rounder looking to get time.

no. None look like long term pieces to me. I am totally focused on building up the young (cheap) core and holding out on any contracts that arent part of my long term plan.

Kind of where my mind is at as well. Before they do anything brash, I'd like to see them add some zero risk/high upside young talent, however they can make room for them (in order):

Sign Cat Barber.

Sign Christian Wood.

Call up Trey Burke.

---------------------------------

Next, if they decide to trade, there may be some good bang for the buck out there (guys we could legitimately target with our low-end resources. Personally, I'd have all low-end resources on the table (as well as KOQ and Lee) except Willy. Not ready to give up on Willy yet):

#1 - Joe Young, Indiana. Currently behind 2 other very decent PGs in Collison & Cory Joseph. 25 years old--fits the timeline with our core guys. Quick and talented. I'd love to see them add a young offensively talented PG to pair with what Frank provides, with Jack reduced to 3rd PG/mentor role.

#2 - Antonio Blakeney, Chicago. The Bulls actually called him up and he's getting a shot now, so far results have been mixed but this dude's got game. Big-time scorer. Excellent in transition. This dude's definitely a pro 2G. Kind of a more explosive Jamal Crawford that's even better in transition. Only 21 years old. Very talented piece that can grow with our core. I like him better than Dotson.

#3 - Janis Timma, Orlando. The Magic own his rights, currently playing in Europe. 6'6" swingman, he can shoot, handle it, pass, play in the post. Good athlete, strong. Smooth and graceful, yet hardnosed as well. I like him A LOT. Played with KP on the Latvian team. I could see KP vouching for this guy in a sec..

L.Deng can help us right now more than J.Noah can and both have pretty much the same contracts so if we were gonna be stuck with one of J.Noah or L.Deng for the rest of this year and two more years then i'd rather have a SF that plays both sides of the ball over a center who will sit on our bench because we can't find floor time for him with this log jam of centers we have.

Wow they all make sense... we could do them all actually lol

The Kanter and KOQ essentially for Jordan will shut up alot of fans regarding defense and rebounding at the center spot. Jordan is worthless on offense without a point guard.

Then Noah for Deng

Maybe a 1st rounder for Randle

Second rounder for okafor....

We can have it all!

Deng for Noah does make some sense, although one of Timmy, Lee or McDermott's PT will be affected, probably McBuckets who I really want to see more of so when it's time to make a decision on him, we have a good body of work to look at.

My buddy just texted me about Okafor for a 2nd rounder. I know he wants outta there. Wow, can't believe that's all they're looking for for him. I think you gotta do that, no?

Lol, Jordan, Randle, Ok4 all are do contract renewals. Ok4 will probably get a 1-2 yr prove it deal. But Jordan and Randle will command some good money. Randle would bolt for a starting gig in the off season. Ok4 would be in the same boat not getting PT behind KP, Jordan, Randle. And I won't name Willy since I know how you feel about him. Deng would also require backup mins at PF for small ball.

Anyone over 30 doesn’t make too much sense though I like Jordan. He’s not getting us past Cavs or Celtics however so that matters. Randle May make more sense.

I was just teasing but there are positives with each scenerio. Randle could actually play the 3 with us. With KP out on the perimeter Randle would be in his element. Randle can really handle the ball too. Even if he's off the bench he takes Beas and Lance mintutes away. It's interesting.

While not of great value I looked up Melo vs Randle at 36 minutes:

Melo 22.1 PPg/ 6.9 rebounds/1.7 assists/42.4 fg%

Randle: 20.2 ppg/11.5 rebounds/2.9 assists/54.9 Fg%.

Randle is 22. At 250 lbs I’m unsure if he can defend 3s. Yet there’s talent and he sounds worth a harder look
