Not that I want these kids to suffer a career ending incarceration or anything but the whole "Ball" thing just reeks of excess bravado and while its one thing for it to be in the realm of consumerism or ESPN, but to further entitle another athlete that his talent as a player supersedes the law is wrong.
If UCLA had the stones, they'd suspend them. This was a crime committed not as a private citizen but on a school sponsored trip. That a bit different. This breaks a code of conduct.
Now, sunglasses is not rape, but a felony is a felony.
