Good trade for both teams.
Suns get a 1st round pick and the G.Monroe expiring contract

Bucks get a great combo guard when healthy.

Agree. Definitely would have been a classic Knicks move. Especially giving up a first rounder.

They need more scoring and they've been trying to get rid of Monroe for years
He's not the center they need for their style of play. Clogs the lane and slows the pace.
Guys like Vaugh, Delladova, Terry, Snell aren't good enough for them to make that push.

Good deal for both teams, under the circumstances.

Yeah, the move makes a little more sense for the Bucks. Takes some pressure off Giannis with Parker out.

agree... both teams did well. Bucks have a lot of firepower. If they are ever healthy look out.

So...could the Bucks use a big from a certain team with an abundance of bigs?

21pts, 5rbs, 6.3 ast, 27 yrs old, and would have played all 82 games if the suns didn't shut him down to play the young guys last season.

To me this was more like not getting lowry when we had a chance. I would have traded anyone but frank, kp, and thj.

There's no 1st rnd pick coming in putting up those numbers, and if we make the playoffs, that first rnd pick maybe 15-20

The real bullet dodged was Phil not being able to sign Greg Monroe.

Don't care if Bledsoe was putting up even better numbers, no way I wanted to see Bledsoe get a long term deal with his knees. Could have easily turned into Amar'e deja vu.

Meh! The Knicks simply aren’t in desperation mode at this point. Not with a bunch of kids 25 or younger. Bledsoe would be a big upgrade but being patient doesn’t really hurt the Knicks.

I can see both sides of the argument, whether we were better to go after him or not

Our best hope is that Dotson, McDermott, and THJ really start to shoot it so we don't play coulda, shoulda woulda with Bledsoe's availability

One thing I will say: I have been thoroughly unimpressed with Bucks and Suns when it comes to trades and FA so a big part of me thinks this will be a dud for both teams -- for that reason alone

E.g., Suns have a lot of young forwards who will sacrifice minutes for Monroe. At Center does he really help over Chandler and Len?

Bucks; how well will he play with Giannis and even Middleton?

He will be 28 very soon...has had injury issues in the past...cannot hit the 3...and did not want to lead a young, rebuilding, and talented Suns team.

I don't know the politics on that team, but I prefer to see how this group of Knicks develop through the season...and wait to the trade deadline to make moves.

Not sure how he fits with the Bucks. You have the GF, who is a point-type player, some nice guards who, from what I can recall, play D, and Bledsoe cannot even spread the floor on offense.

He is not a bad player, but unless we could have given them Noah, Kuz...and maybe the Chicago #2, there was nothing I was willing to part with for him.

You do not add a ballhog to a group that's trying to build team play on both ends of the floor. Wasn't DRose enough?

Combo of Parker and another player. Risky for both sides.

Bucks are in a pickle with their cap numbers over the next few years, got a lot of decisions to make.
