Watching the first clip, Doncic does a good job at finishing at the rim after contact. Can jump laterally if necessary to score after contact, or closely guarded.

Can finish with either hand, has a nice stroke, and can play some D, not sure how much.
I could see him being a high pick.

Looks like Manu type of do it all good player. Impressed.
Then, you add in HE IS 18 years old!!!!!! Then it changes things.
Can he improve on all of it for the next level?

I like what I see. The fact that he gets real minutes already gives him a heads up over someone like hezonja. I have him as the the third prospect below Marvin Bagley and Michael Porter. I think Porter is the best fit with the young core we have, but Bagley is a beast. College and international ball means something again now that we have our picks lol

I think he will go in the 3-8 range, we really need to get a high level SF. We need some lottery rigging for Porter. He is so much better than everyone I've watched from this draft class. A little luck and the franchise could change overnight. We have lost draft position the last 2 lotteries you have to figure one goes our way eventually.

Thats why I dont put too much stock in the notion that losing a game resulted in our draft position. If we make the playoffs, Im guessing it will be the 8 spot. Otherwise I believe we will be picking in the same range 4-8, unless luck moves us higher in the draft. As long as the Knicks take the BPA, Im good.

Doncic has been playing pro ball since he was 12. He's already a seasoned veteran at 18.

Knicks fans wouldn't have the patience for him or anyone. They will ship him out for the next available good player. Just as Ntlikina is mentioned in any Kyrie deal which I think is crazy. Anyways this is all hypothetical.

Build a core first and then add via free agency.
