man that was fun to watch... glad I was able to catch the last 8 minutes or so. We were awesome. When our guards are hitting anything from the outside its a joke. Marbury and Iverson are such a nightmare to guard with their playmaking abilities.

Steph doesnt have to repeat this performance... so long as he and Iverson are hitting enough jumpers where guys HAVE to come out and guard them we will be fine.

Just saw the game. Steph was playing hot! It is good to see Marbury be Marbury again. He is da man today.

Did anyone see the tussle between Larry Brown and the Spain head coach at the end of the game? I thought that was funny but at the same time leery if there was a Jeff Van Gundy moment a la Alonzo vs LJ fight. The Spain head coach didn't take Larry's decision well on taking the time out with less than a min left in the 4th qtr. Larry tried to defuse the tension and shakes hand with the spanish coach but he was pretty pissy and keep pointing the finger at Larry lol. Good thing Larry walked away before things got worse.

Saw the entire game. Great great game played by both teams that offered us tremendous basketball.

marbury was awesome, making good decisions and then, making shoots from all over the floor. more rythm, more attitude, he won that one for you guys.

I was hoping for that and was keeping my breath for each of his shots. great lefty off the glass at the end.

great come back by team usa, maybe now people will stop bashing marb and accept the fact that wade is not ready yet (though he nearly succeeded in breaking the glass by trying to bank a shot).

can't wait to see the game against argentina.

Marbury just shut up EVERYBODY in the press (Bill Simmons, Chad Ford, basically all US writers), showed class in the interview, and showed why he was picked to go there. Man what a game for the US and for Marbury, he was hot.

That Knicks backcourt next year is going to be super-tough to stop once anybody gets it going. GO USA!

Larry Brown called the timeout about 1 or 2 mintues before they actually received the timeout, international rules are different once again...you cant just call a timeout on the spot, you have to put in for a timeout, i didnt know that until after the game when Marbury was interviewed he said it and also Poppovich said it also so the spain coach should quit his crying, and also larry brown isnt like that to run up the score...but that def was funny, Brown was telling the Spain coach, "DONT POINT YOUR FINGER AT ME"

and how about that really ugly/hairy guy on spain...

He makes george muresan look like a GQ model lol

Its important that the players got comfortable and just played. Just shoot instead of passing up shot after shot. This team does not have to be on top of their game to kick butt.

Team USA must keep attacking and not let it get close where a three can kill them.

Good for Steph! This should help his confidence. Naturally I hope we get the gold, but also that steph was showing leadership and being a part of it!
