That is insane, you have not met the guy you just hired to build your franchise up. That simple means you don't give a flying FCk.

New Knicks GM Scott Perry revealed on ESPN's The Six that he has yet to meet Knicks owner James Dolan.

Brought on in the middle of reports that Cleveland star Kryie Irving was looking to be traded to one of four teams, including the Knicks, Perry deflected questions as to the team's interest in the point guard.

But before finishing his segment, Perry was asked what his interactions with Dolan have been like.

"I have not met with him yet, but am looking forward to that," said Perry.

The answer appeared to take host Michael Smith off-guard who then assumed that Perry must have met with Dolan at some point before he was hired.

"No," said Perry stammering just a bit. "I've dealt very closely with Steve Mills throughout the process." Said Perry.

Perry was officially announced as Knicks GM on Monday, though as yet to meet the man. Perry did say that the history of dysfunction that appears to hang over the franchise during the Jim Dolan era has not been a concern of his.

"No reservations," said Scott. "The organization is very welcoming… feel good about the situation."

The farther Dolan stays away from things, the better.

Yeah the everyday decisions, but not meeting the GM of your team. He's like 3rd in the chain of command

The further away from England, the closer it is to France

I don't know if your being serious, but this is the best post to this topic and I actually agree with in 100%. Either Dolan stays out or says in. Picking and choosing every little situation is getting a bit nuts.
