The main voice of reason against complete idiocy and buffoonery around the tarrifs and trade wars just left the White House. Gary Cohns is stepping down. All the king's men are now gone. The king's two and a half women (Ivanka, Kelly Anne and Kushbaby) are all that's left.

These mid-terms should be more heavily watched than norm IMO. I figure indictments will come late this year and Pence may get served, that would mean 3rd in line, Speaker, would get the nod. Dems gotta take the House back.

I think you are right about the timing of when they'll come in with indictments. My fear is the he completely losses out and fires Mueller before it. The man is obviously struggling to keep a connection however tenuous to what used to pass for sanity in his mind. Futures are already down 300 points. If this trend holds expect a big pull back tomorrow.

STATE WATCH March 08, 2018 - 09:53 AM EST Utah lawmaker shelves bill to name highway after Trump BY AVERY ANAPOL

The Republican state lawmaker in Utah pushing to rename a highway after President Trump said Wednesday that he would not try to force a vote on the bill.

State Rep. Mike Noel told Salt Lake City's Fox 13 that he would not let his legislation go forward because it was “still controversial,” even after he tried to woo some opponents by modifying the bill so that it would only rename the highway in three spots. 

"This is one thing to name these three little stretches of road, no national parks designations, after a president that I think will go down in history,” Noel said.

The original version of the bill would have named the entire stretch of road the “Donald J. Trump National Parks Highway” to recognize the president’s decision to shrink two national monuments in the state.

The measure, which a Senate committee passed earlier this week, faced pushback from Democratic lawmakers and constituents. One Democratic state senator said that he would amend the bill to also name a “Stormy Daniels Rampway,” a reference to the adult-film actress who has made headlines in recent months for claiming she had an affair with Trump in 2006.

Wow. John Bolton was named national security advisor. Guess the job description called for a bat**** crazy chickenhawk. Its going to take something really big to divert from the Mueller investigation. Bolton would be the man to call.

New information from Cambridge Analytica whistleblower Christopher Wylie has revealed that incoming national security adviser John Bolton’s super PAC tried to use data on Facebook users to make people more willing to support backing wars.

In an interview with the New York Times, Wylie says that Bolton’s PAC was alarmed by polling trends showing that more and more Americans viewed war unfavorably — and it wanted to construct an advertising campaign aimed at reversing those views.
