I know where I was.

Funny how history repeats itself. Apparently according to my bio I was just as bored at work then as I am now. 15 years ago I defected from the then MSG forums to UK.

Bored at work? Must be nice, I can barely breathe at work. I post here to force myself to take a break.
15 years ago? I used to live in Raleigh area in NC and was 5 years removed from living in NY. Been away for 20 years, and still a Knicks fan. Sometimes, I have to wonder why though.

I was probably just getting out of class (10th grade) typing on here about how excited I was about McDyess.. Now i am bored at work...typing on here.

Correction, it was summer haha. Probably just doing nothing but typing here all day.

Congratulations. That is a long time.
I remember exactly where I was. I had botched a home repair with a water line and was living in a hotel with my wife and two boys while my mistake was fixed. I was posting on njo sports forums at the time. This is a much better forum.

that sums up being a Knick fan. Remember the first preseason game? McDyess looked great. He was ripping down boards, beasting in the post... then pop! Kneecap brakes and the rest is history.

Lol. Congrats? Crazy how fast 15 years go by. Specially if your a Knicks fan. I was playing on some summer league and working hard on my game with my dad. So much easier when not having to worry about classes and exams.

I do. He had like 17 points and 15 rebs (just guessing) very easily. It was awesome. Then it was over just like that.

OMG do you look back on that and laugh or does your wife still hold that against you when arguments come up?

We laugh but I am not allowed to try tougher projects on my own anymore.

15 years ago I was young and stupid...

I used to post alot on the defunct daily news boards. I got kicked off of msg forums and real gm a few times. I might have been posting here under a different name... can't remember.

It's pathetic how long we've been posting on UK

I was part of The NY Times Knicks forum that later went defunct. One of posters mentioned this site and I started checking it for my one stop shop on Knicks after I moved out of NY....for years I was checking U.K. And never paid attention to the forum until like 2 or 3 years ago....reminds me a lot of The NY Times forum

I was working in a jewelry factory in Merrik, LI. I remember I used to spend a lot of time playing Diablo 2. Hmm, the secret Cow Level . . .
