Great and we have no money open
fishmike 9/27/2024 11:00 PM Ug I hate this. The idea of Towns is great until you see what a pussy he is. Jules is a dog. DD was a flamethrower locked up cheap for 3 more years. First Leon move I hate

you'd want him on the team? At what price? Dude will be 28 and had like 2 really good playoff games.

NO! No they didn't. THJ just turned 25!!! THJ had a FAR better season and has much more upside.

i love what simmons did during his playoff run after kawhi got hurt, but there's very few teams in the league where he could post similar numbers. he's a product of that system and should stay there.

I like Simmons, but their production is far from similar.

Anyway we have no money, no caps, nothing. It is none of our business.

the end of last season is basically the only time THJ really did anything of note

I agree that THJ has produced more, but again he really only accomplished anything at the end of last season. I', assuming Jonathan Simmons will go for the MLE or less. If the question is who would I rather have for only being good at the end of last season, I'd probably pick Simmons (and I'd definitely pick Holliday over both, when you consider the contract)

the end of last season? How about a majority of last season?

Nov, Dec he was OK. Jan, Feb, Mar, he was very good. For 6 games in Apr, he was pretty good. In the playoffs he sucked.

that's your response? Misdirection on a stat that we all know is way outdated?

pfffft you said "How about a majority of last season?"

and my answer implies he SUCKED the first half of last year and we gave out 71 mil for a small sample size. in fact I don't think he ever produced anything that warranted the contract he received.

Did you have a bad day or something? By definition, a PER of 15 means he was AVERAGE. A V E R A G E

Simmons is a much better defender than Hardaway.
But on offense, not really close.
Tim's shot is so much smoother, better playing off screens, creating shots.

THJ is clealry the overall better player. But considering Simmons QO just got pulled, the question is who would you rather have: Simmons at the MLE or less, or THJ at $71 with a no trade and a trade kicker?

Sign me up for Simmons (and I would have preferred Holiday to either)
