Only the Knicks could give a fringe starter 18MM a year paying him $20MM more then his current team was willing to offer and then bungle the press conference.

Seriously after the entire NBA finds out that we are searching for a GM, yet we won't let them bring in their own people somehow the owner, GM and coach are not present when we announce our signature acquisition.

The boundless stupidity is almost presidential. How can they continue this pattern of imcoptenantance? The press release after throwing a legend out of the building. The acoholic owner attacking someone for having a drinking problem. Picking up Phils option only to fire him. See Chancey Billips/Tyson Chandler.

For god sakes, each day is a new embarrassment. How are we going to build a team when Allan Houston gets forced down the next GMs throat and they have to answer to Steve Mills.

you realize he is on a scale right? one that goes up per year. he is getting 16. something then 17. something then 18. something then 19

Which is actually worse because Noah is on the same escalating contract.

A center whose a corpse making 20MM and shooting guard that will be the 15th best at his position making almost 19MM is lunacy. KP will get 25MM - 30MM, Billy 18MM if he continues to improve which leaves us with no cap room in 3 years when this supposedly young core is ready to rock.

do u honestly thin so,or are u simply being obtuse?
read over what u just wrote you think in next few years when kp and willy are getting paid , noah wont have a very valuable trade able contract?seeing as it will only have a year on it left?

Because 19,100 show up for every home game no matter what and they are the most valuable franchise in the NBA.

plus the salary they are bound to inherit in any melo trade. I think THJ will earn his money, i just dont have any faith in them bringing in better players to help him.

No one on the roster is durable enough to play more than 70 games, and the way this team is being built, we seem like a injury away from having a 17 win season, saddling KP with yet, another losing season.
