I made it this far, Im not giving up. Its in my DNA.
I stopped being all negative for things out of my control.
So why bother geting all lathered up about things and drag the past as its to extrapolate to the future?
Phil was a good decision. The man got out of hand. He reset the direction of the team which is a good thing.
We are in a better place than the 37 win team with a core of Melo, Bargs, Shump and JR.
I thought Kerr was a good idea. Reality is with his spinal fluid problem, he'd have resigned. Just so much pain a man can take as a knick.
Fish was a good idea, who knew this good family man and leader of men was to get a mid life crisis and be a horny dog?
But the only thing that counts are the games. The results speak for themselves.
If THjr proves to be bad, then we'll deal with it. If Noah can't bounce back, we will deal with it.
If knicks never win a chip in my lifetime, I'll let my children deal with it.
I have tried to shake this team from my DNA. Moved to NC. Then Charlotte got expansion team. George Shinn had a great thing going here then became really bad owner.
Shyt happens. Could I be a Celtic fan? Not after 1970's being a knick fan. Lakers? Never. I can admire or have a preference who'd I'd like to see win if not the Knicks, but thats about it.
I have Net's DNA in me from the ABA days as a kid. DR. J as as big a star in my universe as any. They sold him and that really scorched that when they went to Jersey.
When ewing came to town it was a good era but in the end Nalod had some kids, raised them well, and in 1994 swore that I won't get that emotionally bent out of shape ever again for any sports team.
This is the only site I go to on a regular basis besides Facebook.
Reading posts form some really smart fans is fun. Also fun is the incredible ignorance by others.
Im somewhere in the middle. Maybe not.
