The Celtics are reportedly shopping Marcus Smart.
In order for the Celtics to create the room necessary to sign Gordon Hayward, they will need to move either Smart or Terry Rozier in addition to shedding the contracts of Jordan Mickey and Demetrius Jackson. Boston will also likely be shopping Jae Crowder, as they already have a plethora of forwards on the roster with Jayson Tatum, Jaylen Brown and now Hayward; and they could also dangle Avery Bradley in trade talks.

Olynk was 12th or 13th pick -- gone
Smart was a 6 pick
rozier was like the 16th pick (finally showing life as a player)

they also have 2 stash first rounders from last year, crowding the scene potentially

the fact that the celts are looking to get rid of these guys (who have cheap contracts) is a testament to Ainge's poor drafting

His strength is trading -- KG; Bkn. And whether it's luck or talent finding gems in other people's castaways (IT; Crowder)

I'd be fine with Crowder or Rozier, and maybe Smart (but we'd have to convince ourselves he doesn't explode)

They need a center with Olnyk gone. O'Quinn a cheap option - makes a ton of sense...let's do this. Players, picks, or both...and let's sign Olnyk while we're at it. Celts south.
