The fact that Phil was a 1st time gm.....wasnt the reason he failed.

Phil is stubborn and out of touch with today's NBA.

But at this point I doubt Dolan hires anoth rookie. He can't afford another fail.

Being his 1st time definitely had something to do with how bad he was, i'm sure if he ever got another chance (which he won't) he'd go into that next job with a lot learned from what he did with us and would probably even do a better job. Of course his ego had a lot to do with it as well but being his 1st time didn't help.
