There's an excerpt from the book on Hoopshype. I wonder who edited/ghost wrote his book, because its kind of rambling, and clearly wasn't written by a proffesional. Still its interesting to hear a bit of his story if you're a fan. He went through some really tough times.

Before you buy it, make sure you read this excerpt and ask yourself if you'd be able to get through the book...

I loved Starks, and I think he has a very interesting story to tell, but man, the writing in this excerpt is horrid.

That is a strange style of writing. Its pretty chopped up.

John was a great story, bagging grocery's after college!

He had it tough, but there are so many good books I want to get to before I read his.

I'll wait for the movie.

The funny thing is, as bad as the writing is, it's still better than John's english. But hey I love John anyways. The english language is overated, son.

Apparently Starks didnt write it after all and ordered all copies of the book destroyed because it contained profanities.Weird.
