How bout' this trade. I think it's fair. More importantly we clear up some log jams and get a great starter in Brian Grant. The only thing we would need to do is to trade Brian Grant and Travis for a center.

Thoughts?

New York trades: Charlie Ward $5,110,000 to Portland (plus Trade Kicker $814,500)
New York trades: Kurt Thomas $4,413,375 to Miami
New York trades: Othella Harrington $2,475,000 to Portland
TOTAL: $11,998,375

Portland trades: Bonzi Wells $2,028,240 to New York
Portland trades: Dale Davis $7,010,000 to Miami
TOTAL: $9,038,240

Miami trades: Brian Grant $10,009,688 to New York
Miami trades: Kendall Gill $1,538,000 to Portland
TOTAL: $11,547,688

TRADE ACCEPTED

Due to New York, Portland, and Miami being over the cap, the 15% trade rule is invoked. New York, Portland, and Miami had to be no more than 115% plus $100,000 of the salary given out for the trade to be accepted, which did happen here. This trade satisfies the provisions of the Collective Bargaining Agreement.

I don't think Riley would give up one of his more tradeable players in Grant to get Dale Davis and KT. Also, now the Knicks would have Wells, Spree, and Houston to play 2 spots. I don't think it'd work.

Well guys this is where we are Happy New Year anyway. I read somewhere that Spree is on the downside of his career so we should trade him but my question is when was Houston's upside. I think we should trade Allan if anyone is to be traded for some young upstart of a small forward that is tough and can really score and rebound. any suggestions? Then we have to not just work on but get Marc Jackson from G.S. After we do that we ought to get rid of all our point guards and start from scratch. I heard that Jackson is considering retirement and has a good chance of becommimg our next coach. Charlie should be gone and I dont think that Eisley had a fair shake at the point to be judged yet. Like I said before and always say since at this point we really got nothin to lose we really should take a look at Lovar Postell if you watched him play before he may be the only person on our roster to return a little excitement back to the garden.

Lavor should work on his handle, he would surely crack the rotation if he could play PG.

I think that Postel would have to work on more than just his handle to make the move to PG...Lavor has a scorers mentality. Just look at his stat lines when he gets into the game...6 minutes...6 shots. It would have to be a total conversion in his game.
