We have yet to see this kid play in live competition. A simple knee bruise should not keep this kid out for two weeks. They may need to do an MRI. The Knicks training staff is known for missing stuff. The most important thing is his health but after watching Randle essentially look like the worst pg in the league for two games, it would be nice to see what Frank can do.

Have patience. The Summer league is fun and entertaining but at the end of the day, it really doesn't mean too much, IMO. We need him healthy by spring training and that's what's important.

The kid hasn't stopped playing bball since September. I think they just want to give him rest.

Exactly. Most of the college kids haven't played competitive basketball since March. Frank's season ended June 23rd.

Agree...but when we first looked at the Orlando schedule there was a possibility that Frank, Smith, and Monk were going to play head to head against each other, and now we come way from Orlando seeing none of them on the court, unless Frank plays game 4.

I give Frank a pass considering his euro season. Don't know what the excuse is for Smith or Monk.

very true. I dvred the games and started deleting them just because frank isn't playing. I want to see what he can do with nba competition and this is the most anticipated summer league since porzingis.

I wish the Knicks were playing the Vegas Summer League in addition to Orlando. It seems like a rebuilding team would benefit from a longer look at guys in game situations. They could also try out some other free agents.
I'm tired,I'm tired, I'm so tired right now......Kristaps Porzingis 1/3/18

Monk injured his ankle and Smith is playing in Vegas...

The last thing we wanted to see is Monk and Smith playing in Orlando. Would have been a kick in the ass. But agree, Frank should be kept out if hurt. Orlando means nothing. More important to get him healthy and practicing with team.

I could see it now, Frank plays at less than 100% looks bad and is declared a bust by knick fans after a couple of summer league games.

While I see your point, I am more interested in examining his athleticism against the other players. This kid has been playing against grown men for the past year. I am sure he will look decent even in the worst case scenario. I was just want to see if he looks spectacular. Either way, I would not put too much into it. I think we all just don't want to wait four months before we see him play.

Frank played way too many minutes for an 18 yr old. It's good that he's in Orlando learning schemes and seeing N American basketball and it's even better that he's resting a bit after a very long season.

As much as I would love to see him play I kinda agree with you. Imagine a fatigued Frank getting posterized by a well rested Smith (if he were playing) in a summer league game? Knick fans would break the internet.
