Mrs. Nalod and I on a road trip. "See" America Great Again in a car. We up north and decided Thursday we sick of our current white house administration and the orange phuch face after spending time time at a Jazz festival (Music type not falling on deplorable ears) so we hung a right and decided to help celebrate 150th anniversary of Canada. We'll be back.
The point is we had a lot of time to listen to radio. Ujiri was leaked seemingly 10 minutes after Phil was fired and the Calipari Starphuch not long after. Fans interview on the street talking about how "Phil had to go and things going to be great!!!".

Phil at least set this franchise straight. Half full, half empty??? Im not upset Phil was canned. I get it, and Im glad he came and did what he did.

Now is the scary part, the part where Dolan notoriously goes full hype. Layden does the right thing treading water, then Isiah goes into full hype mode. Walsh tears it down for Lebron, Dolan prematurely ejaculates with Amare, Melo then Bargnani. All for the high ceiling of 54 wins. Denver at least goes playoffs three straight years and goes 57 wins!!
Dolan I hope does not deviate from the McKinsey consult he likely paid big bucks for and lets the next group do it.

Im ok with Mills as the Geek. Over see a plan as the Admin guy and hold the organization to a plan. Then hire a basketball guy to manage the talent. Simple.

Calipari seems like a starphuch selling the promise of future starphuchs which might be a new kind of starphuch we have yet to be starphuched with. years of Rumors of Davis, boogie, Wall, and all the Kentucky guys in for a reunion could earn Cal tens of millions but this is a league of teams and brands and a team flourishing in major media market does not need to happen anymore. League is doing great without Lakers and Knicks. SAS and GSW are the bellwether as had been Cleveland.

Phuching Cleveland!

On the road and endless ESPN idiotic comments about the knicks mostly non facts and opinion installed as "insider" type comments. Much like a few of us like to do from time to time.

Much like our country which is becoming ungovernable with a sort of tribal divide, the knicks need to depart the traditional hype machine and not follow the pulse of the fan. Develop Frank, KP and fill up the cupboard so one day when we are in a position we can make short term moves as such.

as for America, time for single payer insurance. Sorry, its not a market like cars, homes and toothpaste. You get sick, and you will, you need care. Its enviable. If not, die on the sidewalk. I proscribe try to benefit from single payer where countries have less drug abuse problems. That, Or I need opiods for my Knick habit.

I believe Dolan fired Phil just because that guy told him that he could bring Ujiri here to replace Phil. Indeed he couldn't (without us giving away pick) then Dolan got fcked again. (No surprise)

And Mills, I don't think his hand are clean. But people probably underestimated him. He is always alive and when things went wrong there is always the fault of others. He probably is very masterful in politics.

One thing I am confident that history will bring out the truth. What we did to Phil is unjust. One day, the future Knicks fans will realize that Phil was a legend. He was a true New Yorker.

Phil is still running the show. This was planned by both Dolan and Phil got the idiots off his back. Perfect move to play the media. Now that Phil is gone why is Anthony looking to move? You it's not about winning anything.

Listen to the radio on the way to work everyday. Its pretty bad the amount of crap they put out. Say stuff like Phil turned a 37 win team into a 17 win team. But never bring up the tanking purposely done that year to draft KP. Or that the 37 win team had no cap space or draft picks.

Just state the simple easy narrative.

I can fault the Knicks for a lot of stupidity, but not for this. LOTS of NBA teams make poor long term decisions to clear space for LBJ, even just a slight chance. None of them knew besides the Heat that LBJ made up his mind already. And he was just toying with people and their futures.

It was a rare moment where one player literally makes you a contender overnight.

I recognize that most NBA teams know they are signing bad player and bad contracts, but GMs in place have to do something. Anything. They can't just do nothing. This is the complicated part of the equation. Saving their job means more than doing their job. How can you do your job when there are literally no mechanisms in place to really get better?

The NBA, at a systematic level, has way too much dysfunction in how it actually operates. The game needs sweeping changes to evolve with the times. I don't fault the Knicks for a problem the entire league has, I do blame the Knicks for not adapting to the nuances of how the current system operates anyway. The system has flaws, major ones, but signing Noah to four years was just plain stupid. You can't blame that on system in place.

No one wants to waive five years for a contract to expire for a team to have hope again. The modern society and sports culture won't tolerate it. A major labor war will happen again, and the NBA will need to change. The Knicks have to do the smart thing and read the tea leaves as they change. Sadly, they probably won't.

Seems accurate to me. Phil has his faults but doesn't mean that anything Rosen says should be ignored.

He is to busy faking period. Have you forgot all those new conferences thanking Isiah Thomas. No really leaves the Knicks Phil probably consulting as we speak.

If Phil was really on the payroll, he'd have kicked him in the room with Warkentein and john Gabriel where the old guys get paid and seemingly don't do anything thats made public.

We still really don't know why Phil was "Mutually removed". Phil won't speak because they all sign contracts that prohibit any such thing or the money goes away.

They'd notice when he actually hits two jumpers in a row. And attempts to play defense (or not).

Where's playa2 when you need him? Good times, all those old conspiracy theory threads...
