Ex Laker Majestic Johnson comes back to lakers for 5 min and introduces A.Ball and gets pick positions

At least NBA teams can talk to GM/prez like Magic

While folks talking to Phil aren't interested in anything else besides ripping Knicks off in any deal for KP. That's a No.no
KP needs to stay despite his gripes with Phil.

It is nice to have a clean start.
Magic is very smart man and will not jump in bad situation.
Phil knew what he is getting into but still get in.
Money is a factor but what are they for Phil... not much to add and not at his age.
Nobody gives him a credit for trying to turn this mess around.

He inherited a team!!!! He didn't draft anybody!!! Ball fell in his lap. He just got there!!! That team already been together a few years. They are ready to take the next step... he didn't do that. He didn't assemble this group. Chilllllllllllllllllllllllll

The only thing I think that you can say about Magic is he actually stayed awake during some of his scouting sessions, and spent time at college games scouting talent.

He was lucky not to lose his draft pick this year. That would have been huge.

He has done nothing but trade Russell for Lopez. And maybe acquire Hart from Utah. Other than that he really has done nothing.
