I think they can be a decent team if both Iverson and Dalembert actually stay healthy

iverson is iverson but one of these days, he just won't be iverson anymore. hopefully they'll use him at the point more this season. dalembert could blossom into something special defensively. other than that, they are pretty weak everywhere else. where's the scoring help? is green ready to make an impact? we all know about the big puppy. korver is only good for one thing and that's to play craig hodges 2k4. iguloda should start but this team doesn't crack 40-42 wins. eigth seed at best.

Looks to me like the same old Sixers, Iverson and a bunch of role players around him. They got to the finals that way, albeit the role players back then were better.

Deke that year was way better then Delambert is right now.
Snow was in his prime, now he is just gone for nothing.
McKie was younger and a very capable sub, not an aging bad contract.
Tyrone Hill was rock solid, a very good defender and had good size, I never liked the undersized Kenny Thomas at PF, there is a reason he got traded away from the Rockets for nothing.
Lynch was on that team too, a very good defender and tough nosed player.

Sixers are just too young to compete right now. Green, Salmons, Iguadola is a rook in the Darius Miles mold, as in no range, so he will take some time to develop. Big Dog is really really past his prime, kinda like Rice a few years ago. Korver is a poor man's version of Steve Kurr except he has no Joradan, Pippen and Kukoc to be the 4th option at the 3pt line and be left open. All you have to do is just stick with him and double AI with somebody else.

AI is already banged up in the Olympics, how many games will he miss?

Overall, I can't see them being a threat.
A glimmer of hope maybe?!?

I'm with you on this sim.

Maybe it should be time for them to tarde AI, as painful as it would be to reload.

In 3 yrs from now, I don't know if iverson will still be bale to move without crutches. Clock is ticking, and his body could break up soon.

As you said so, the olympics won't help him at all. siwers would be well advised to force him to rest and for instance limit his playing time over the first week of the season.

At the same time, he should be in very good shape.

Who could he be traded for ? What team do you think would be interested in trading for AI ?
