With all that's come out this off season about Melo undermining front offices and coaches and game plans from high up doesn't it make sense now that we won tons of late season games against teams picking 1-7 tonight?

Melo helped instill a me-first not knick-first atmosphere that has plagued the Knicks. There was no thought about helping the Knicks get a generational talent tonight because our on the court leader and mentor to our young players is the most selfish loser in the NBA. But as long as he gets his all star appearances for his post NBA brand, right Me7o?

Melo has still not consented to being traded. He wants to stay a knick and I assure you he doesn't want to go through a rebuild at age 32. This man is going to try and hold the Knicks hostage.

When did this become your girlfriend's boyfriend hooking up with another girl at the graduation party and they lying about it the next day in a text message?

We weren't committed to the rebuild yet. Last season we were and melo has his own personal agenda. I'm a knick fan first. I don't like Melos me-first agenda.

The NBA champion feature a Finals MVP that left the very good team he was drafted by.

Last year's NBA champion featured a Finals MVP that left his last very good team high and to return to the team that drafted him who he once left high and dry.

Welcome to professional sports.

Look I'm not a big melo fan and I want him to be traded BUT I wont blame him for draft position. It is what it is. Of course I would love to have had a top 3 pick but it a good draft if you are in the top 10-12. Plus Supposedly Boston might be willing to give us 2 top 3 picks for KP(even though I would hate losing him) so who knows

Yeah and if Melo hadn't forced his way here years before the rebuild, Manhattan would have broken off and floated down the Hudson to Philly and Hinkie would be running things and we'd have 3 chips by now. Phil would have come as coach for free and they would have reshaped the O'Brien trophy into even more of a triangular shape.

Oh wait, if Melo wasn't such a selfish, me-first azzhole, Phil wouldn't have signed Rose and Noah and even that miserable turncoat Jennings. Phil would have been able to get Towns and the Greek Freak and Noel and then BOTH CP3 and KD would have signed here.

Oh wait, if Melo didn't exist at all, the Russians would hate Trump and he wouldn't have won the election.

Oh wait, if Melo's ancestors had just emigrated out of the US, Global Warming wouldn't be such an inconvenient truth.

Sure wasn't the fault of the guy who gave Melo a max deal and a NTC right? Damn Melo, putting a gun to Phil's head and forcing him to offer that deal. Flush*

As expected, why don't y'all blame Melo for poverty, famine and Trump while y'all at it.

Didnt day he was holding the rebuild hostage, he was holding the Knicks hostage. Coaches fired, players traded all kinds of ****ty moves to try and get vets around Melo so he could "win now" while he sucked up a third of the salary cap and shot 6-19.

This team needs to tank so hard next year, With the 8th pick we took a backup Guard instead of Dennis Smith Jr , we will regret it for years

So this is the progression of things. Now we're tanking before and immediately after draft night.
Melo is the reason we are picking 8th and not 2-4 today
