Of Course there are a lot of rumors and scenario's about what the Knicks should do. This is my IMO.
1. Make Issac the #1 priority to draft!!! if possible. Any trade that doesn't get us higher pick to ensure getting Issac is out of the question.
2. If not Issac then WHO?? Frenchy is my choice because of his upside and still growing.
3. Melo must GO!! I been saying that for years and didn't want him to begin with when 'Daddy Walsh' and 'Jungle Dan' made that stupid trade. Of course, Phil gave him a NTC.
4. No Melo means someone needs to take the heat when the team start losing. Melo took the heat so now I think the obvious choice is D. Rose. Former MVP of this league in a major city(Chicago). This will help take the pressure off KP & Issac or Frenchy. BTW, all this talk about Willy starting at center. I'm not sure about that. If KP is at the 4 then KQ need to be at the 5. I don't think Willy is a better rebounder than O'Quinn(for right now).
5. There a lot of talk about Baker starting also. Don't forget Baker wasn't going to make the club until Randle got hurt. Randle become a very important sub with the triangle.
6. Keeping Lee and finding a backup SG is important.
***Right now is a good time to start thinking about chemistry. That is something very few people understand the important of on a team. Contrary to popular belief, I think Rose, Lee, O'Quinn, Baker and Willy all played good last season.
7. Let keep our opinion open if the New Orleans situation changes with Davis and Cousin. That would be something I would think should be on Phil radar(Cousin).
